"I have to start our senior year without my best friend" Jonah complained on FaceTime.
"I know, it sucks. But I'll be there in spirit" Corbyn smiled at his best friend, as he put on his inflatable vest.
Jonah had been complaining about not being able to start school with his best friend, no matter the situation either boy was in they always started the first day together.
"Maybe I can kidnap you? I'm sure no one will mind" Jonah spoke.
Corbyn chuckled at his best friend's random thoughts. "Have fun for me tomorrow. You better ask Tatum Dahl out as well"
"Shut up" Jonah blushed. "Why don't you ask out that Daniel kid"
"Because I haven't seen him since-" Corbyn stopped mid sentence, scaring Jonah a little.
Harsh coughs tore there way through Corbyn's throat, making mucus rise as Corbyn spat it out in the trash can close to his hospital bed.
"Take deep breaths, you're doing great" Jonah gave encouraging words through the electronic device.
