"NO! Not yet!" She said. He could tell she was persistent about this.
He sighed.
"ATLEAST tell me why.."
"You... you'll see!" She stated with a slight smirk on her face.
                          
He started to worry about what she was going to do.
                          
After a lot of convincing, he was willing to wait for his shirt.
She stood from her seat and walked around him-still holding the shirt behind her.
                          
She placed her head on his back and pushed lightly.
                          
"Emma..?"
She continued to push and he moved to where she wanted. She made him sit on the other side of his bed but facing away from her.
                          
"You could've just told me y'know" he laughed.
"Wayy more fun this way!"
                          
She laughed as Well and sat with her back against his on the other side of the bed.
                          
She continued her quiet work. They both sat quietly.
                          
The warmth of their backs felt so assuring. The clock ticked away. Ray thought about everything during this time. Reminiscing all his time on that earth.
                          
"5 days to go..." he thought.
Emma was awfully quiet. He didn't know if she was that focussed on whatever she was doing, or if she too was recalling her old memories. Remembering the times when everything was simple and fun. Nothing to worry about.
                          
For once, she was unreadable, he didnt know what she was thinking about. But then again, he can't even see her so who can really say?
                          
Minutes past, to the next, to the next.
The silence wasn't awkward at all, in contrast, it was actually soothing.
                          
Finally..
"Done!" She yelled with excitement.
As he turned his head to see her, she left the bed and skipped over to face him.
                          
Then she revealed the shirt, proudly.
                          
At first, he noticed no difference.
                          
"Look closely..." She whispered.
He scanned the shirt and then eventually noticed.
"Oh... Emma, you didn't have to.."
"But I did!"
                          
His sleeve was stitched together.
He remembered that day when he wrapped her hands in his sleeve by ripping it off, but he didn't expect her to stitch it back on.
                          
He reached for the shirt and she placed it in his hands.
The stitching was careful, though, it wasn't perfect. In fact, it was far from perfect, but he could see her effort in trying to make it look good.
                          
He smiled at it.
He looked up at her innocence and saw her happy face staring back at him.
                          
He laughed to himself.
"Huh? What's so funny?" She asked.
"Nothing," he said, "I just didn't expect this... you're.. so cute, Emma."
                          
She blushed.
"WOAH" she exclaimed.
He looked confused at her reaction.
"What.?"
"I can't believe you complimented me like that!"
He replied,
"What do you mean? I compliment you a lot!"
"Not a LOT, a lot! Just like a few times!"
"That is NOT true, Emma!"
"Is too! You're way to shy and 'cool' to compliment me on anything!"
She pouted.
"I AM NOT SHY!" He blushed.
"Hmm?" She said.
She leaned over to him with a smirk.
"Prove me wrong then."
                          
He glared at her as she her smile broke into laughter.
                          
"Can't do it Huh?" She was only teasing him, she took no offence. She liked that cool side of him.
                          
She brought her hand to his side bangs and caressed them gently, brushing her fingers into his soft, conditioned hair.
                          
"Don't worry about it." She said with a smile.
Her soft hand to his face made this undescribable comfort travel through his body. He looked to the side.
                          
"I should probably get dressed.." he said.
"O-oh..! Right! Uhh I'll just leave the room to give you some privacy.. huh"
                          
She laughed nervously and backed away. Her awkwardness made Ray laugh.
As she was about to leave, Ray said,
                          
"And you call me the shy one"
She turned with frustration with him
                          
"THIS IS DIFFER-" as she turned, she saw how strong his body had gotten over the past few years but blushed at the thought. His muscles, to his posture. Everything had developed.
As she got lost in her thoughts, he was about to take his cloak off to which she turned her gaze away with a bright red face.
                          
Ray looked at her to see why she cut herself off which made her more flustered as she ran off.
                          
"Huh?? Why did she look so flustered just now?"
He thought.
                          
Emma ran through the halls.
                          
"Crap, crap, crap! Why does he look so attractive in every way possible!?"
She clenched her chest.
                          
"This is getting crazy"

Hey! Hope all of you are healthy and safe at home. My school is closed till April 5th so I actually have a lot of time on my hands, meaning, I can write more often! Yay!
                          
Also, the next few chapters will be just a bunch of "fillers" like this one but I'll try my best to make them good. After the fillers, it will DEFINETLY be pretty good hehehe
                          
Lastly, I will start a new story soon [rayemma again ;)] so if you like my writing, be on look out!
