The Mission

                                    

                                          
The space trip was a complete bust, the Avengers were back to square one. Five years have passed since their failed trip to get the stones, for now the team has branched off in search for better answers, or hope to be able to move forward with their lives. The world was a different place, many memorials were put up in respect to everyone who vanished. It wasn't long when the Avengers got a surprise guest, Scott came around saying he may have a way to fix the universe problem, by using what he call, a Time Heist. 
                          
"We know what it sounds like." Scout said to Tony. "Tony, after everything we seen is anything impossible?" Steve asked. Tony continue to ignore them until he finished pouring their drinks, he was just enjoy his time with his daughter when the trio pulled up to his many of homes at the lake. Ramona was running around chasing the creatures that was around, she was also trying to avoid the little girl that tried to play with her, "Quantum fluctuation messes with the Planck scale, which triggers the Deutsch Proposition." Tony explained to the classless individual that ruined his time with his daughter, "In layman's terms, it means you're not coming home." He finished. He looked out seeing his daughter trying to chase after Ramona who quickly ran to the other side of the lake house avoiding the laughing child, "Maybe I should get her dog." Tony mumbled to himself as he smiled at his girl. "I did." Scott said to him. "No, you accidentally survived." Tony said back to him in annoyance.
                          
"It's a billion-to-one cosmic fluke. And now you want to pull off a...what do you call it?" He asked Scott as he took a seat on his chair, "A Time Heist?" Scott asked with a chuckled. Tony chuckled back at him, "Yeah, a time heist. Of course." He said. "The stones are in the past. We can go back and get them." Steve explained, "We could go back, we could get them." Natasha tried to pursue Tony, even thought everyone can tell Tony wasn't going to entertain them with the subject much farther. To prove their point his daughter came out to rescue him from their situation, "Mom said to rescue you." Morgan said to her father, Tony sigh in relief as he stood holding his daughter, "I am saved. Listen, if you came and asked me for something else, anything else, I would do it. But I can't roll the dice on this one." Tony told the trio. Steve stopped him, "Tony, this could be our second chance." "I got my second chance right here Cap." Tony said to him while holding Morgan, "You can stay, as long as you don't talk about shop." Tony said to them as he walked inside his lake house. Steve sigh then called out to Ramona who was laying down in the sun, glad that the annoying child was contained. She ran over to Steve as he opened the door for her to get into, she put her head out the window when Natasha drove off to try and find help from another big brain.
                          
Ramona whined as she was left outside a diner where Steve, Natasha and Scott met up with Bruce/Hulk. She stared from outside where Steve tied her up, she can smell the diner food from where she was. She licked her lips when people exited out the diner, she sniffed some people to-go bags as they pasted, she would whine to some causing them to give her some food. She turned her attention to the tapping on the window from Steve who saw her beg for food from strangers. She wagged her tail causing Steve to glare at her before continuing his conversation with the rag tag group.
                          
Ramona sniff the Bruce/Hulk with curiousness, Bruce/Hulk shooed her away from him as he counted down for Lang to go back in time. It was chaos trying to get the time corrected, Scott returned as a child, an old man, then a baby, it wasn't reassuring that thing would go well if the Avengers went through with their crazy plan. Ramona turned her head when Steve walked out of the office, to get some fresh air. Natasha came up to her rubbing her back, Ramona turned to look at her, Natasha didn't say anything, she bend down hugging the giant dog out of no where. Ramona huffed as the woman continue to hold her, she can sense that everyone hasn't been themselves, Natasha included. Ramona looked over to Bruce/Hulk and Scott who both tried to pretend nothing was happening. The group then saw a car speeding up to their entrance, stopping in from of Steve, Natasha looked up seeing Tony getting out of the car and smiled, "I knew he would come." She said to Ramona as she rub her neck, Ramona looked at her then back at Tony and Steve who walked in with a smile, "I think I found a way to go back to the past." Tony announced. The group cheered as things were beginning to look up for them, "Then, let's gather the group." Natasha ordered everyone.
                          
Ramona growled at the big man who smelt like death, "What do you want beast." Thor asked as he walked pass the growling dog. Steve and Rhode held in their laughter as Ramona followed the depress God keeping her distance as she smelt the depression. Clint smiled as he see Thor trying to shoo away the dog who growled at him, "Things haven't changed here." He said. Natasha shook her head, "Nope, not really." She said. The rest of the Avengers gather around discussing how each and every one of them will gather the stones from different places and time, "Okay, so the how works." Steve begin, "Now we gotta figure out the when and the where." He stated. "Almost everyone in this room has had an encounter with one of the six infinity stones." "Not me, I don't even know what you're talking about." Scott intervene as he watched the dog eyeing the dirty God. "Or substitute the word 'encounter' with almost killed by them." Tony interjected. "Regardless, we only have enough Pym Particles for one round trip for all of us." Bruce/Hulk explained, "And these stones have been in a lot of different places throughout history." Our history." Tony begin, taking over the explanation, "So, not a lot of convenient spots to just drop in yeah?" He said.
                          
"Which means we have to pick our targets." Clint said. "Correct." Tony agreed. "So, lets start with the Aether. Thor what do you know?" Steve asked. The group turned to the dirty God, only to find him with his hand resting inside his pants, the other holding a soda can, Ramona growled lowly when Thor didn't answer Steve. "Is he snoring?" Natasha asked. "No he's dead, definitely dead." Rhode said to him. Steve let out a sigh, "Ramona wake him up." He commanded. Ramona stood up, jumping in the God lap, she barked at him, causing Thor to jump awake, "What the?" He asked. "Thor, what do you know about the Aether?" Steve asked once again. Thor glared at the annoying beast who growled back, "Uh where to start." Thor begun as he took off his glasses, staring at the screen that held the image of the Aether, Steve grab Ramona collar commanding her to sit beside him as she was about to follow Thor. Ramona grumbled as she lied down between Steve and Natasha, Thor begin to explain what the Aether was and how they can obtain it, or rather give a long drawn out history of his life in the mix.
                          
"Alright now we have a plain, Six stones, three teams, one shot." Steve said once everyone got the locations of the stones figured out after some time. "Five years ago we all lost. Lost friends, lost families. We lost a part of ourselves, today we have a change to take it all back. You know your teams, you know your missions, get the stones, get them back." Steve then turned to his team of Avengers as they all suited up getting ready for the most important missions of their lives, "One round-trip each. No mistakes, no due-overs. Most of us are going somewhere we know. That doesn't mean we should know what to expect. Be careful and look out for each other. Good luck" Steve finished, he looked down at Ramona who looked unsure of her staying behind, he bend down rubbing her head, "I'll be back girl." Steve said as he kissed her between her eyes, Ramona sat looking at him then put her paw on his arm, "I know." Steve said with a smile.
