The crisp Thanksgiving air was refreshing as it drafted in through the small opening in Skyler's bedroom window; the holiday finally coming to an awaited close. Majority of the teenagers decided to call it a night, no longer in the mood to celebrate following Lexie Pemberton's subliminal act of harassment. It may have been for the best though, as an immense amount of discomfort made its home in Skyler's body only moments prior to leaving the church; the cool air deemed useless.

She groaned softly as the stabbing pain in her abdomen seemed to only intensify as time moved forward. She continued to toss and turn in the silk sheets, trying her hardest not to wake Grizz, who was sleeping quietly beside her. However, the girl's attempts prove unsuccessful because after a few moments she felt the soft flesh of his fingertips running up and down her back comfortingly.

"What's wrong?" He asked, his voice low and eyes still resting.

"I don't know." Skyler sighed, sitting up. The room was engulfed in a sheet of darkness, the only source of illumination coming from the streetlights outside. "I think I maybe drank too much." She clutched her stomach as it churned; her feet finding the hardwood floor as she got the sudden urge to vomit.

Skyler flicked on the bathroom light, falling onto the cream colored rug as she gripped the rim of the toilet seat, emptying the contents of her stomach.

"Jesus, babe." Grizz walked into the bathroom, brushing pieces of her loose hair from her face as she wiped the back of her hand across her mouth.

"Somethings wrong with me." Skyler looked up to meet Grizz's chocolate irises, a look of confusion plastered onto his face.

"Shit, you're like pale." He grabbed a towel from the bathroom counter, wiping away the cold sweat from her forehead.

Skyler leaned over into the toilet once more, throwing up whatever was left in her stomach as a headache began to form. "I don't even feel that wasted." She voiced as the boy ventured back off into her bedroom.

"A bunch of other people are sick too." Grizz returned to the bathroom dressed in sweatpants and a hoodie, his phone clutched in his hand. "Kelly sent out a text, she wants everyone who isn't feeling well to come to the clinic."

Skyler chuckled softly. "She's practically the town Doctor now." Grizz helped her up from the bathroom floor, tossing her a pair of leggings and his black T-shirt that had an image of a teddy bear on it.

"Come on, lets go before you puke again." He grabbed ahold of Skyler's waist, grabbing his keys from the kitchen table before leading her out of the front door.

The New Ham Clinic had been up in chaos even upon their arrival. There were about eight people so far, scattered about the once deserted emergency room; managing to keep down nothing but internal organs it seemed like.
