From my selfish ways
So that I could see you glistening
The same, but not with longing,
Because you are beautiful
Without my scribing.
You are beautiful inside,
And I tend to forget your humanity.
Forgive me please,
So that I can forge a more proper
Disclosure between us.
I don't care that you are not mine.
You are my muse, and I use you
as such, so please don't hold that against me...
Even if I never truly hold you.
