Violet was on the couch at her apartment trying to decide on a movie to watch when the doorbell rang. She huffed then made her way to the door. She looks through the peep hole and saw a boy with his head down. 
                          
But she could still tell the boy was
Joshua.
                          
Violet's eyes widened. She had been ignoring him all week but she didn't expect him to come to see her. Violet nervously looks around for an excuse not to open the door but moves very loudly. 
So loudly Joshua heard her and said, "Violeeett, I know you're in there,". Violet sighed, giving up, and took a deep breath then opened the door. 
                          
"Hi," is all she said. He smiled at her. 
Oh how she missed that smile, his sent, his-
Her thoughts were cut off by David screaming, "Hey V, who's that!?". Violet's heart stops. 
                          
She looks at Joshua, who has a confused face, and says ".. Oh no one, but I'm going out for a while! Okay, Thanks bye David". 
Without waiting for a response, Violet grabs her keys and jacket and rushes Joshua and herself out the door. 
                          
As soon as she gets out of her apartment she lets out a sigh. Joshua was standing there awkwardly till Violet says, "So.. Where were we?". The two walked out to the street and walked towards their favorite cafe, without saying a word to each other. 
                          
The tension decreased when they walked into the packed cafe. "Do you want to order then go somewhere?", Joshua says over all the people speaking. Violet nods her head and gets in line. After a few minutes, Joshua and Violet order two drinks to go and left the cafe. 
                          
Joshua starts walking to the left without saying a word, leaving Violet confused. She runs up to him and says, "Where ya going?". 
He comes to a sudden stop, "My car duh". He points to the car next to them then unlocks it and opens the door for Violet. 
                          
Violets chuckles and gets in the car. Once Joshua enters he starts driving, not saying anything again. "Josh, where are we going?", Violet says looking out the window. "Just wait" is all he says. 
                          
After about ten minutes they arrived at a park. "A park, really?", Violet says getting out of the car. Joshua tilts his head to the right to signal Violet to follow him. Once Violet is at his side he says, "Not just any park". 
                          
"Then what?", Violet says confused. 
"Who was that?", Joshua asks, ignoring Violets question. 
Violet reddens, "Oh.. Well.. Remember the guy I told you about?". 
Joshua squints his eyes trying to remember, "No?". 
"My ex"
                          
Joshua stops, "Him?". 
Violet just nods her head and continues walking. 
"You serious, Violet?", Joshua says catching up. 
"Yeah, I thought you would be happy for me. I mean isn't that what you were trying to show me? That love is real?". 
                          
Joshua scoffs slightly, "He hurt you,". 
"He apologised!", Violet says defending David. Joshua stops and turns around. "Where are you going?", Violet says speed walking to catch up. 
                          
"Taking you back to David", Joshua says increasing his pace. "But what were you going to show me?". He doesn't respond and only increases his speed. "Josh don't be like that", Violet says struggling to catch up. 
                          
They reach the car and Joshua still hasn't said anything. He just gets in the car and waits for Violet to get in. Once Violet gets in and buckled up Joshua starts driving faster than he was before. "Josh.. Talk to me", Violet says noticing how Joshua is acting.
