Marvel adjusted her eyes at the light, she had fallen asleep as soon as they got back to the Impala. She saw the Impala stop in front of a payphone. She looked out the window as her eyes met the very familiar blue eyes, she pushed the door open running toward the Angel and throwing her arms around him.
Marvel's P.O.V
He hugged me back, and we just stood there hugging each other. Cass was the one who stood by me each full moon just to make sure everything went well, I loved Cass's innocent unfiltered thoughts. "Cas, is that you?" Dean asked the Angel shocked as I finally ended the hug with him.
"No. You're dead." Sam said not trusting his eyes, is normal and that they couldn't believe the eyes we burned Cas' body along with Kelly's some weeks ago.
"Yeah, I was. But then I annoyed an ancient cosmic being so much that he sent me back." Castiel said to Sam causing me to giggle.
"Only you can manage to annoy something older than the world so much to let you join the misery of the earth," I said to him a bright smile on my face. Castiel smiled and winked at me.
"I don't even know what to say," Sam says, still shocked at Cas being here.
"I do. Welcome home, pal." Dean said and pulled Cas in a hug after Cas exchanged the hugs with each of my brothers.
"How long was I gone?" Castiel asked us. For a long time for us to miss you. Our family wasn't completed without Castiel.
"Too damn long," Dean answered the question, I nodded my head agreeing with him. If someone was closer to Cass than me that was Dean. Castiel was Dean's guardian angel. They went through a lot together like the time in Purgatory.
"Where were you? In Heaven?" Sam asked the question curious.
"No. No, I was in the Empty." Cas replied to the question. "Apparently, it's where angels and demons go when they die." He filled us into what Empty was.
"What was it like?" Sam asked him again.
"Well, it's dark and...nothing. It's like nothing. I was sleeping, and then heard a voice that said my name, and I woke up. I thought you had done something." Castiel continued saying what had happened during his time in the empty.
"No, we didn't even think we could bring you back," Dean said to Castiel and that was the truth. None of us thought we would see Cas ever again.
"So who was it? Chuck, God?" Sam asked Cas, we were wondering who actually could have brought him back.
"No. No, he has no power in the Empty." Castiel informed us who is the most powerful being after Chuck. Jack brought Cas back.
"Well, then, who does?" Dean asked Cas.
"Jack." Me and Sam said realizing all fingers were pointed towards the Nephilim.
We enter the car and Cas is in the back with me. I was telling them about my encounter with my bio grandmother. "So what did she want with you?" Dean asked me.
"To help me with my powers and teach me how to use all my creatures at the same time," I said to them. "She told me something big and bad is on the way but nothing else," I said and we got out of the Impala in front of the bunker.
"So do you trust her, to help you with them," Cas asked me, I shrugged my shoulders, I kinda do and I kinda don't. Why would a ghost lie, if she is being honest about this then I need her help that is for sure.
"I don't know. I mean why would a ghost lie, It is not like I can hunt her and kill her, and if she is honest I will need her help, so maybe I will take a shot." I said walking downstairs.
I see Jack is typing away at his laptop when we enter. "How'd it go?" He asked me with a smile.
"Acceptable," I said to him sending a fake smile.
"What's wrong?" He asked looking towards us. We three turn and let Castiel into his view.
" Hello, Jack." Castiel greeted the Nephilim whom he didn't have a chance to meet before.
"Castiel?" He said shocked also not believing his eyes.
"Yeah, it's me," Castiel says to him.
"No. We burned your body, and what's burned stays dead. How?" Jack looked at me confused wanting an answer which I didn't have. None of us had an answer for him.
"That is a great question. That is the question we have been asking. Jack did bring Cas back?" The boys let me ask the question since we have been spending most of our time around each other.
"I don't know. I wanted him back. I begged for him to come back, but... " Jack sighed looking at us.
"Well, here he is," Dean said to the Nephilim.
"Because of me?" Jack said looking for answers.
"We don't know. We don't know, Jack. But we think maybe." Sam said to him.
"Thank you, Jack," Castiel said to him Jack walked over to Cas and hugged him, I smiled it made me happy that Jack had somebody to guide him on the way for him to understand. It reminds me of my relationship with Dad.
"I missed you so much," Jack said as Dean pulled me into a side hug catching my feeling of nostalgia on the air.
"Marvel, Sam, and Dean tell me you're doing well," Cas said to him and Jack smiled brightly.
"I am. Watch this." Jack says walking back to the table and levitates a pencil for a few seconds, then chuckles. "I can move the pencil. And I found a case. Hunter's case." He said smiling.
"What kind of a..." Dean started to ask.
"Zombies," Jack said. "I know what zombies are now." He whispered at Cas. He pulls the came "You see?" He says to us.
"Wait. Where'd you learn to do that?" Dean asked him as I smirked. I might have taught him one thing or two about how to find a case.
"Marvel taught me." He said. "Three days ago, a vintage pocket watch with a personal inscription was sold at a pawn shop. But when they went to authenticate it, they found out that it'd been buried with its owner 20 years ago. And when they checked out the grave, it was empty. Which means the dead are rising in Dodge City, Kansas." He said to us. I look towards Dean he has a dreamy expression on his face. Cas glances up at him and Dean looks down to hide his smile... Jack glances between us, confused.
"Right. Or maybe it's a-a grave robbery, but..." San started to say as Dean stopped him.
"Yeah, but we should probably check it out," Dean said to us.
" Wait. Really?" Cas asks him. Dean just because you love Western movies.
"Yeah, we've done more on less. Besides Dodge City's kind of, uh, awesome. All right, well... two salty hunters, one half-angel kid, a supernatural huntress, and a dude who just came back from the dead. Again. Team Free Will 2.0. Here we go." Dean said causing me to laugh.
"Can we at least get a change of clothes right?" I said to Dean mocking his enthusiast to work a case that probably was not a big deal and maybe not even a real case.
"Yeah just don't take a very long time," Dean said as each of us headed to their room to pack.
Jack followed me to my room. "So how was the case?" Jack asked me following around the room.
"Like every other case. Just a salt and burn." I lied to him as Jack gave me a look that knew I wasn't telling everything. "Also very weird one. I have never been possessed by a ghost. That wasn't fun at all, I don't recommend it. 0/10!" I said and grinned throwing more clothes on a duffle bag.
"Are you ok?" Jack asked concerned. I stopped dead on the track and thought for a second about how was I feeling. I shrugged my shoulders.
"Honestly I am not so sure. But I will be fine." I replied to his question. I am always fine. It hurt my ego that I was so easily able to be possessed by ghosts, like finding dead bodies wasn't enough now but now I am not immune to being possessed.
