It's been three months since he's been here, two weeks since his father was rescued but he hasn't woken up yet. The doctors say that he's slowly healing since he didn't get much chance in doing so when he was imprisoned. Jungkook would visit him almost every day, waiting for him to wake up. His father didn't know him, he didn't know of his existence. His father thought he was dead, he thought that he died when his mother gave birth.
Jungkook wanted to give this man, his father, a chance. He wanted to get to know him, to get to know that man that would've been his father if fate didn't screw them over. Jungkook was currently sat in one of the chairs that was near his father's bed. He was asleep, just how he last saw him the day before and the day after that. He didn't know what was going on. Why was he not waking up? If the doctors said that he was fine, why was he not opening his eyes?
Jungkook sighed, not knowing what to do. He was getting impatient and. . . worried, even though he didn't really know this man. He sighed as he brought his head onto his hands, elbows resting on his knees. He couldn't help but feel useless. Couldn't there be something he can do? Jungkook stopped, eyes widening. He looked back up to his unconscious father, eyes moving from his face to his chest. 'Maybe. . . there is something I can do.'
Jungkook wiped his sweaty hands on his jeans, taking a deep breath before he closed his eyes. He didn't know what to do, he was nervous. He didn't want to accidentally hurt his father but he took the chance. He needed to know if there was something he could do. Jungkook opened his eyes, immediately looking onto his father's body. His eyes traveled from his legs to his stomach, then his chest and shoulders until they landed on his head. Jungkook frowned when he saw a strange light, a green light.
It felt. . . unfamiliar. The green light was weirdly situated in the back of his father's head. Jungkook didn't know why but he got a bad feeling about it. He used his abilities and careful concentrated all his strength to that green light. Jungkook felt sweat build up on his forehead, chest rising and falling faster at the force he was using to get rid of that green light but he just couldn't. Jungkook stopped, taking a breather before continuing. Whatever he was doing was not helping.
So instead, Jungkook concentrated on relaxing, mind immediately bringing Taehyung's face in his head. His smile, his eyes, his laughter, his shy expressions and his way of showing he cared. All of that seemed to make Jungkook immediately calm down. His heart no longer beating as strong as it was earlier. He opened his eyes again, unaware of them being purple instead of their usual red. He looked onto the green light once more, feeling himself warmer. To his surprise, the green light was slowly dimming. Jungkook continued and soon, the green light was completely gone.
Jungkook felt his eyes dim, feeling out of breath once he regained his strength. He looked over at the man on the bed, waiting to see if what he did helped in any way. And that's when he noticed that the man was slowly moving his fingers, face scrunching up before he turned his head softly to the side, groaning when his neck cracked loudly. Jungkook stood motionless, eyes staring at the man as he seemed to slowly regain his movement. It was after two minutes or so that the man opened his eyes, first, his eyes were a deep dark red, darker than Jungkook's, before they dimmed to a dark brown.
