Y/n stared at herself in the mirror, pursing her lips and she passed her fingers over the fabric of the dress, tracing the intricate designs that vined up her waist to her chest and across her shoulders. She felt overdressed even though the outfit itself was quite a simple concept. However, Yoongi and Taehyung seemed to disagree. The two were eyeing her up and down, approving grins on their lips.

"You look amazing, Y/n," Yoongi said, smirking slightly. "I'm sure Namjoon will trip when he sees you."

Her cheeks heated up slightly, looking down at the floor and biting the inside of her cheek to stop a smile from erupting. The thought made her shy. Taehyung chuckled, "looks like you have a natural blush, Noona. Good thing we didn't put any on you."

"Oh shut up."

"You know why you look so good in this dress?" Taehyung asked, taking a few steps back to sit down on the couch. "It's because the colour goes well with your skin tone and it highlights your hips and..." she raised an eyebrow at him and he paused, "uh...you know, your..." he gestured to her chest, "that part. It also shows off your legs."

"You do have nice legs," Yoongi laughed softly, "probably nicer than mine."

"I'm glad I made you choose a mini dress," Taehyung sighed. She took a last look at herself in the mirror and smiled, turning and picking up a simple black clutch with a silver star pinned to the middle of it. She slipped her feet into lacy, raven-coloured heels - ones similar shade to her clutch - and ran her fingers through her curled hair, the pretty curls setting nicely over her shoulders and forehead in layers.

She let out a deep breath. "Alright, let's not keep Joonie waiting."

Meanwhile, Namjoon hurriedly fixed the chained star-pins on his blazer, arranging it to take shape of the stars that made the constellation Virgo - his zodiac sign. Roughly fixing his hair by swiping a hand through it, he then chucked his black dress shoes on and headed out the door, slipping his blazer on over a burgundy shirt similarly coloured to Y/n's dress. Then he paused and took a few steps back to his dormitory, poking his head in and grabbing the bouquet of flowers he forgot.

He ran to the courtyard, where the Autumn Festival would be held, and waited for Y/n at the entrance, picking through the flowers and making sure they were perfect.

Earlier today, he went to Hoseok to ask for a favour, to spell the flowers to never wilt until he died. It was a little cliche, he had read it in a few books here and there, but he didn't care. Hoseok had agreed anyway. So now, Namjoon has a bouquet of pretty flowers with his emotions hidden within them, never to die until he does.

He let out a nervous breath, shifting his weight from foot to foot. After a moment, he heard five pairs of feet coming down the path. He perked up. A flash of burgundy emerged, two suits and another two dresses following. He couldn't suppress a smile as it grew upon his lips, his eyes focused on Y/n and Y/n only. "Hey," he breathed, watching her approach.

"Hey," she replied, equally as stunned as him

"Hey," she replied, equally as stunned as him.

"You look great. That dress is... it looks amazing on you."

"You look great too." Her eyes flitted to the constellation above his chest on his blazer, her fingers drifting to trace it lightly. "I didn't know you knew about constellations, let alone memorised the places of Virgo."

"I should at least remember my own zodiac sign, shouldn't I?"

She chuckled, "I guess you should."

He gazed at her softly for a few seconds before snapping himself out of his daze and bringing up the small bouquet he handpicked himself with a few tips from a friend. "Here," he held it out to her, "this is for you."

"Flowers?" She accepted them with a smile, gently touching the petal of the centerpiece

"Flowers?" She accepted them with a smile, gently touching the petal of the centerpiece. "What do they mean?"

"Uh..." Namjoon flushed slightly, his eyes dropping to stare at his feet. "I dunno," he mumbled, "maybe Kook's friend would know."

"The Elemental?" He nodded. "Hmm, I'll have to find her then."

"But not now," he said quickly, causing her to tilt her head in confusion. "Later? After the Festival?"

"Of course, after." She chuckled, grabbing his hand and dragging him in, "let's go then."
