She picked Lily and I up by our elbows, but not hard enough to make it hurt. Faye was already standing and Anna twirled her around, spraying glitter in her hair. She twirled Lily around next and sprayed glitter spray in her hair, which was tied up in an elegant bun. Lily took a deep breath and Anna came over to me to repeat the action.

Once she had finished, she started to give us the run down for tonight. She first told us that we would walk down the stairs and try not to trip. At the end of the stairs, the Alpha, Beta and Gama would meet us. The Alpha and I would dance then the Beta and Lily would join us. The Gamma, who had known his Faye for a while, would join in. After the three dances anyone would be able to dance or not dance.

She walked us through the night in extreme detail, which seemed to give Lily peace of mind, but it didn't do anything for me. If anything, it only made my nerves shoot up. I didn't know how to dance or act all proper like a Luna should.

If I wasn't nervous enough, when Anna added that tonight I would be declared Luna, and the other girls their prospective titles, my nerves shot through the roof. Lily had told me that this was just the regular meet the parents. I should've known better when I had to wear a dress more expensive that my rent.

Great, we're screwed, I told my wolf with a groan. She just waggled her tail at the thought of our mate and being in such close proximity with him.

We walked out of the room and down the hall to the large double doors. They were dark wooden doors with gold designs covering the edges. It was definitely the nicest door I had ever seen. There were two guards positioned on each side of the door. They were wearing traditional guard uniforms with black button ups and black slacks. Because they were guarding a fancy event, they didn't have on a hat or a name tag, but they did have a black overcoat and tie.

Anna nodded at them and they nodded back. Then Anna, with a smile, swiftly exited into a room that was bustling with excitement. The guard on the left hand side looked at us with a monotone face but his eyes showed excitement.

"Ready, ladies?" He asked. Lily looked at me with wide eyes.

No, I replied in my head. I grabbed Lily's hand, which I think calmed her nerves. I could hear her rapid heartbeat begin to slow and that calmed me down a bit. I looked at her and nodded my head and she nodded back.

"Yes, thank you," I spoke for the both of us. Lily let go of my hand and linked our arms together in a way that was supportive but still graceful. Lily then did the same to Faye. The men opened the door and revealed the crowd to us. There were so many people. So many.

There were people of all ages, I even saw a few babies in the crowd. They were all wearing evening gowns and suites. They looked gorgeous, each one of them. They had werewolf blood therefore making them pretty humans.

The staircase was white marble, long, and wide. There were gold railings on either sides that formed the same swirly pattern as the door did. White marble covered the ballroom floor almost entirely, but dark wood covered the edges. There were white tables with matching cloths. What seemed like thousands of white chairs surrounded the round tables and in the center of each table had white roses. Each place on the table had a white notecard with gold writing, saying what I assumed were people's names.

At the end of the stairs, like promised, were the Alpha and Beta. Beta Morgan looked handsome to say the least. His brown hair was gelled back and complimented his black suite. He looked at Lily with absolute adoration in his chocolate eyes. Glancing at Lily, I saw she had the same look. With just one look, anyone could tell that they were in love.

Alpha Winters looked just as handsome, in fact he was much more handsome. His hair, like Beta Morgan's, was gelled back and it matched his tux. The tux was perfectly fitted to his body, it was tight enough to show his muscles, but not tight enough to look like it didn't fit.
