Chapter 21 : Search and Rescue

                                    

                                          
Nate and Gab sat on the ground. Matt was still in the same state he had been. Eyes staring into nothing, not reacting, and not talking at all. Nate stood up and said "I'm not gonna stay here. " Gab said "Me neither, what about Matt?" Nate said "I don't know." Meanwhile, Mark was struggling to get up, but whatever gas that was, it was preventing him. Mark took a deep breath and told  himself  said "Come on Mark, do it for the baby, do it for Matt! " All of the sudden whatever was preventing him from moving, went away. Mark took a deep breath and stood up. Mark looked around and thought I have to get out of here. He slowly walked over to the door and opened it. When he got into the hallway he looked around the hallway was completely empty. Mark walked out of the room when he heard banging against metal and a woman's voice shouting "If you don't let me out of here Madpat, I swear to God! " Mark slowly walked closer to the door. And he tried the door knob, and it was locked why did I think the door would be open?  He thought. The voice said "Go away Madpat, I'm not in the mood. " Mark said "Well, i'm certainly not Madpat for starters." The voice said "Please tell me, that's you Mark and not Darkiplier. "  Mark snickered and said "It's me Steph. " Steph said "Thank god, can you please get me out of here? " Mark said "Yeah, do me a favor back up. " Steph said "Okay, I backed up! " Mark said "Alright here goes nothing. " And took a deep breath and ran at the door, the door opened. 

                          
Mark looked at Steph and smiled. Steph said "Thank you. " Mark said "Don't mention it. " Steph said "Where is everyone? " Mark said "I don't know what happened to Sean, Nate and Gab are keeping an eye on Matt, and hopefully there's no one else here! " Steph said "Wait what about Matt? " Mark sighed and said "We don't know what they did to him, he's not talking or reacting to anything. " Steph said "Oh my god." Mark said "Come on, I'll take you to Gab, maybe they have a plan by now. " Mark led Steph back to there hiding spot and knocked on the door. He heard  Nate say "If you come near this door I have a pocket knife. " Mark rolled his eyes and said "Number one, you don't have a pocket knife, number two how the hell would that defend you against four demons? " Nate sighed and said "Okay, fair point. " Nate opened the door and said "Steph? " Steph said "Hey Nate. " Nate said "Sup, wait where's Sean? " Mark said "Well, Sean and I ended up getting suffocated by some weird smoke, and I don't know what happened to him. " Nate said "Don't worry I think I know exactly where he is. "
