Kaytlyn. Decided after their mother, Catelyn Stark. It was a name Aris had decided for a girl in honour of their mother. If it were a boy, the name would differ of course to maybe Robb, or Eddard, maybe even Rick.

Little Kaytlyn was taken from Aris to be bathed for the first time to rid of the yuk and blood and dressed in the new clothes Sansa had sown and wrapped in a bundle of soft fox fur. In the meantime, Aris was dressed into fresh clothes after being helped to draw a bath and set in her own bed.

Jon shortly returned with little Kaytlyn wrapped in his arms and smiling. "She's beautiful." he sat by Aris and gently handed her her sleeping baby. Aris ran a thumb across Kaytlyn's warm little cheeks. Rosy and warm. The tuff of black hair on her head neatly brushed and soft.

It was a new feeling becoming a real mother and she knew she would happily die if it meant her baby lived and now she understood her own mother. She only wished her mother and father and brothers could see Kaytlyn. She imagined how thrilled they would be.

In the hall where Daenerys patiently waited, almost envious, she welcomed the moment Maester Wolkon entered and announced, "Lady Aris has given birth to a girl, red cheeked and healthy!" and numerous claps first erupted from Theon Greyjoy at the far end of the hall, shortly followed by others. Tyrion by Daenerys' side raised a glass. "To new life!" and he drank.

Daenerys pushed a smile and joined the dying rhythm of claps. The Maester bowed to the dragon queen and took his leave.

Aris could simply gaze upon her child when her chamber door opened and her family came inside, Arya wheeling Bran behind Sansa, and Randyl who was the first to come rushing into Aris' side on the bed.

The young boy was still in disbelief gazing upon the tiny human wrapped in furs. "She's so tiny."

"So where you once."

Bran was placed at the bed side and a small smile tugged the corner of his lip. Arya came to stand beside Jon on the other side of the bed and Sansa stood with Bran. "Hello, little one." smiled Sansa to the sleeping baby and sat on the edge.

"So... I have a little sister now?" Randyl implied.

Aris chuckled and Jon smiled. "Yes you do."

"Can I hold her?"

Aris nodded and lifted the baby into Randyl's arms. "Make sure to hold her head." she instructed positioning his arms correctly and he sat incredibly still staring at his little sister.

"She looks like you." implied Arya standing with her hands behind her back. "I actually still can't believe it." and she lifted her eyes up to Bran on the other side of the bed. "You're awfully quiet, Bran."

Bran sighed. "I'm just admiring Kaytlyn." truth be told he didn't want to dampen the mood even though he itched to remind them the Night King was coming.

"How are you feeling?" asked Sansa sitting at the edge of the bed next to Randyl.

"Tired and sore. How else."

"I'll have some food brought up for you." she then gestured to the baby. "May I?"

Randyl nodded and gently handed Kaytlyn into Sansa's arms who gently rocked the small baby. Arya circled the bed to stand by Sansa who held Kaytlyn, and she brushed back Kaytlyn's soft thin hair. "Named after our mother, I assume?"

"A little abbreviated, but yes."

"A fitting name for a Stark girl."

"Do you want to hold her?" Sansa asked Arya who stood above her.

Arya gazed up doubtfully, "I don't think-" without warning Sansa stood and held out little Kaytlyn and Arya was forced to take the baby into her arms making sure to keep up her tiny head. Arya stood awkwardly and unsure of what to do with a baby in her arms. "Uh..."

Aris laughed. "You're fine. Bran, would you like to hold her?"

"I'm quite alright." replied the cripple boy in the wheelchair next to the bedside. A little squeak came from Kaytlyn and what sounded like a whimper. Arya panicked when the little baby started to whimper and cry. "Take her." she demanded and Sansa laughed taking the whimpering baby back from Arya and passing the baby back into it's mother's arms.

Aris soothed her daughter gently rocking her. Little Kaytlyn's eyes came open to show vibrant blue eyes and a for a second Aris wanted to sigh.

"She has eyes like me!" Randyl announced happily making, Jon, Sansa and Arya lean in closer to see. Kaytlyn stared up at the people around her with a sorrowful frown. "And you, Sansa." he pointed. "Hello." greeted Randyl softly with a small wave. "I'm you're big brother. I'm Randyl."

Kaytlyn's eyes returned back to her mother and it brought happy tears to Aris' eyes. She didn't care what features Kaytlyn took after Ramsay, she loved her daughter regardless. "Hello, Kaytlyn." she greeted her daughter who stared at her mother. "This is Jon, and Sansa, and Arya, and Bran." she kept talking to her daughter.

Kaytlyn's mouth opened into a yawn before her whimpers started again and turned into small cries. "She's hungry." informed Aris.

"We should let you rest." said Jon motioning for the others to leave. "We'll have food brought to you, and make sure both of you get some sleep." he instructed both Aris and Kaytlyn.

Arya took ahold of Bran's chair began to wheel him out wiht Sansa in tow. Randyl waved goodbye to the whimpering baby and followed the others out to leave Aris and Kaytlyn in peace.
