"You finally found Helen, I'm so happy for you!" Sam, Edgar, and Jungkook were all sat in the living room, all three with cups of hot chocolate. The minute Jungkook arrived home, he told Sam and Edgar the great news. Sam smiled and placed her hand on his shoulder. "What're you going to do now? Are you going to move in with her?" Jungkook looked down at his cup, a frown forming on his face. "I mean. . . I want to but-" "But what?" Sam asked, waiting for Jungkook to reply. "I. . . I guess I kind of don't want to leave.
I feel so welcomed here. There hasn't been a place where I've felt this comfortable. Even in the lab I spent my entire life in, it couldn't compare to here. I. . . I don't want to leave." Jungkook should've known better than to think that Sam was going to kick him out. He looked up at her when she placed her hand in his, moving his cup onto the coffee table. "Jungkook, you know that you can stay here. Just like Edgar, this is your home and you can stay as long as you want.
I enjoy the company and nothing would make me happier for you to stay. I'm sure Edgar feels the same." Jungkook looked over at Edgar and saw him nodding, looking at him with a sincere look. "Y-yes. . . Jun. . .Jungkook s-stay." Jungkook raised his eyebrows at Edgar's words. He nodded before he stood up, hugging Edgar. "I'll stay, there's no way I'll be able to leave you guys. You two feel like family. Besides, Helen isn't that far from us. I can visit her everyday."
Sam let out a giggle, a teasing look already appearing in her eyes. "You mean Helen and Taehyung are close by. Don't think I forgot about your date with him today." "It wasn't a date." Jungkook replied, eyes rolling. He tried to give off a nonchalant look but the blush on his cheeks gave him away. Sam shook her head, smile deepening. "Alright then, why don't we all get our sleep. Are you going to see them again tomorrow?" Jungkook looked down at the ground, giving a silent answer. "And maybe you could bring them over one day too. I would like to meet Helen and Taehyung.
Maybe we'll get along." Jungkook smiled widely, teeth in full display. "Yeah, I think you'll definitely get along with her." Helen showed an expression of gratitude when he spoke about Sam and Edgar to her. Without a doubt, Jungkook knows that Helen would love to meet Sam and Edgar.
Jungkook didn't know if it was okay for him to walk to Taehyung's house. Truth be told, Helen is living here too so it should be alright but still, being here without an invitation felt weird. He knocked on the door, waiting for someone to answer. "Jungkook!" Helen said as soon as she opened the door. She pulled him in, hugging him tightly. Jungkook chuckled and eagerly returned the hug. "I'm so glad you came. I wanted to go see you but I forgot to ask where you live. Come in, have a seat. Have you eaten?"
