She sat down in the kitchen buttering her toast with Cynthia smiling at her. She thought that her new glasses suited her rather well and sister Bernadette couldn't disagree with her.
"Hello Cynthia, I was looking everywhere for you" Trixie smiled and sat down next to her at the end of the table opposite me.
"So you did it then, you got new specs" Trixie smiled wide at me.
"They suit you perfectly" Cynthia smiled.
"It's definitely the lift, it opens the peepers wider than 3 times the amount of maskara"
She smiled again.
"Hello old things" chummy smiled entering the kitchen.
"Take a look at sister Bernadette's new glasses" Trixie beconed her into the kitchen.
"Oh go on indulge me" chummy smiled taking her glasses off. Trixie and Cynthia burst out in a fit of laughter, she began to chuckle at them both.
"I take it that the upswept frame and I aren't the best of friends" chummy frowned making them all laugh more.
"I will just stick to round glasses then" chummy smiled placing her glasses back on her head.
"I think so" Trixie giggled.
"Hello sister" Dr Turner appeared from behind her.
"Greetings doctor Turner may I be of any help?" She asked standing up from the table.
"Yes I was wondering if I could discuss this rather difficult case with you?" He asked.
"Certainly doctor Turner, please follow me" she said directing him to the living room.
"There is a new mother who has missed all of her appointments and she refuses to see anyone" he explained showing me her file "She only came to confirm that she was pregnant and I'm afraid that she will deliver any day now" he frowned.
"I see your concern" she frowned.
"Yes so I was wondering if you could work a bit of your magic and talk to her" he asked, his brow creasing.
"Of course doctor I will try my best" she said handing him back his file.
"You always find a way to succeed" he smiled.
"Thank you Dr Turner" she smiled.
"I like your new glasses, they suit you very well" he smiled.
"Thank you" she smiled, lovering her head. A deep scarlet blush crept up her cheeks. He noticed.
"I must go now or Timothy will yell at me" he chuckled before heading to the door.
"Quite, goodnight doctor Turner" she smiled at him.
"Goodnight sister" he smiled back before heading to his car.
"Even doctor Turner likes her new glasses" Trixie giggled from the doorway that leads into the kitchen.
"Sister we are to commence in the great silence" sister Monica Joan said. She nodded and followed her towards the chapel. Leaving Trixie giggling behind her.
