Jason had never been more scared in his life as he pulled down harder on the chains above him. He needed to go after Riley and he didn't care that he was hurting himself as he tugged harder on the chains.
The harder he pulled the more he could feel it give way but it wasn't enough. He couldn't lose Riley again. He just couldn't. It would destroy him.
"Fuck!" he screamed as he tugged harder on the chains, feeling the weight of ceiling flex and bend.
He tugged harder and his eyes landed on Lance as he wiggled around on the floor. Lance moved his cuffed hands underneath his legs as he pulled them from behind his back in front of him. Jason saw him place his hands in his pocket and pulled out a set of keys, dangling them in front of him.
He tore his eyes away from Lance as he looked back up to his chains, they were giving way but not fast enough. Using the remainder of his strength he pulled as hard as he could, causing a strangled cry of pain to course through him as he felt his skin ripping against the metal but he didn't stop, he couldn't stop. Finally the chains came clattering down around him.
His hands were still cuffed to each other but he was finally free from the ceiling and without any delay he bolted towards the front door, vaulting over the couch as he rushed out the door. Jason didn't even notice that Lance had freed himself from his handcuffs and was right on Jason's tail.
Continuing to run he headed straight to the driveway where he saw Vincent throw Riley into the backseat and slam the door. Vincent's hand was already on the drivers side handle when Jason launched himself onto Vincent's back, wrapping his handcuffs around Vincent's neck and pulling back harshly. He wasn't going to let him take Riley, no matter what.
Vincent let out a grunt of pain as the handcuffs choked around his neck and immediately he threw his head back, smashing it against Jason's face. Jason's grip loosened just slightly but it was enough for Vincent to rip off his arms from around his throat, pulling Jason around and slamming him into the car door.
Jason's head was held hard up against the car window as he looked down into the backseat to see Riley curled up in a ball, slightly shaking with sweat pouring down her back.
"Don't think for a second I'm going to let her go," growled Vincent in his ear, using his free hand to grab tightly around Jason's throat. "She's mine."
With their backs both turned they didn't notice Lance sneak up behind Vincent until he was already pulling Vincent's gun out from under his back. Lance didn't have time to make any further movements before he was elbowed in side, causing the gun to go flying across the driveway.
Vincent's weight was pulled away from Jason and his attention focused on Lance, lunging towards him and sending them both crashing to the ground. Jason fell to his knees, gasping in air until he noticed the gun nearby on the floor.
Springing to his feet he raced towards the gun, grabbing it from the floor and he spun around to see Lance and Vincent fighting on the ground. Vincent was straddled on top of Lance and was punching him in the face repeatedly.
Jason cocked the gun, the sudden sound bringing Vincent's attention back on him as he slowly turned his head to the side to see Jason with the gun pointed directly at him.
The sound of sirens were heard in the background as Jason edged closer to Vincent, making sure to keep out of his reach. Lance looked bloody and bruised underneath Vincent as he turned his eyes upon Jason to watch him edge ever closer.
"You don't have the guts boy!" smirked Vincent as he hopped off Lance's body to face Jason. "Go ahead, shoot me. I know you want to. Especially after my hands have been all over Riley's delicious body," he grinned while licking his lips.
