Reece's POV

I was currently on my phone when my bedroom door creaked open. I looked up and see a pale looking George entering my room.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked worriedly. He shook his head slowly, lugging his feet tiredly towards the bed.

"Is there something wrong?"

"No" He mumbled out quietly.

"There is definitely something wrong. Don't lie, George."

"It's nothing. 'M just tired kay?"

"It can't be 'nothing', George. You look pale as fuck"

"Could you please just drop it? I'm fine, I told you I'm just tired, don't you understand that?!" He snapped. I widen my eyes at him, visibly shocked by his sudden change of tone.

"I don't mean to snap, sorry."

"It's... yeah, it's fine. Sorry for pushing you" I cuddled him to my chest, holding the pale looking and slightly shaking boy in my arms.

I know that there's definitely something wrong, he would be all shaky and pale just because he was tired, it just doesn't make sense. Either it has something to do with his friends or something from my fans. But from what I saw, Twitter and Instagram were in peace, there's no such thing going on that has anything to do with George and I. So it must be his friends.

I combed his messy blonde hair slowly, luring him to sleep. His breath soon get steadier, telling me that he finally fell asleep. I'll just ask him again later tomorrow.

"Good morning, sweetheart," My mum said greeting someone. I turned my body and saw George entering the kitchen.

His eyes were a bit red from the sleep and his face still an itty bitty lil bit pale. I turned my attention back on my cereal, eating it calmly. He took a seat beside me, eating a banana with empty eyes. Something is actually wrong with this boy. I put my hand on his knee, stroking it slowly to reassured him.

"You know that you can talk to me about everything right?" I whispered, making sure it was just him that heard it. He nodded his head, but his stare still as empty as before. I sighed heavily, knowing that it would be hard to get something out from him if he was this stubborn.

"Is it has something to do with your friends? Or is it me?" I asked again. He shook his head hesitantly.

"Not me?" and he shook his head again. Alright, at least I did nothing wrong.

"Wanna talk about it?"

"No, I'm just tired, Reece. Everything's fine. Don't worry about me" He said, flashing me a small smile that barely reaches his eyes. I sighed again but nodded my head nevertheless.

"Do you wanna go out today? The weather is clear, the light is good, so..."

"I want to, but I'm sorry."

"You have a plan already?"

"Yeah, the guys and I wanna go to a little road trip today."

"Oh, alright then, Imma just chill with Betty and play with Lexi until you come back," I said in full sarcasm. It's not that I hate his friends or something (although I kinda do), I just want to spend times with him. It was my day off (which I barely got) and was it too much to ask to just spend it with my loved one?

"No need to be sassy, tho. I'll be home before tomorrow lunch, okay?"

"Hm, Whatever." He kissed my cheeks then went back upstairs.

"Are you guys alright?" Mum asked after watching us silently.

"I don't know, we're okay I guess."

"He seems a bit off and you look like you're upset, so what's up?"

"I got this bad feeling since yesterday about him and his friends. But I can't put my finger on it so I didn't stop it, I did try but didn't success, so I let him go. And then last night, he came here all pale and shaky and he seems so goddamn off, I don't know what happens, I asked him but he said that he's just tired so I didn't push him. And this morning, I asked him to go out with me but he said that he already has a plan with his friends which I found kinda annoying."

"Maybe he just misses his friends, you know. It's been so long since the last time they catch up, and maybe yesterday wasn't enough for them? You don't know, Reece."

"But I hate his friends, mum"

"Yeah? And why's that so?"

"I don't know. The bad feeling would just come up every time they're mentioned."

"You're just worried about him, it's normal for someone to get worried over their S.O"

"But mum..."

"Shh, let him has his fun, you can just play with Betty and Lexi, catch up with your sister and spend times with me. We'll have Bibs night, how's that sound?" Mum put her hands on my shoulder, squeezing it reassuringly. I nodded my head hesitantly but still flashing her a smile nonetheless.
