6 - Betrayals and Forgiveness

                                    

                                          
You went straight to the deck, to work on your ship, not only because right now you were so mad you wanted to fly away, but also because working was one of the few things that could clear your mind.
                          
At first you were fixing your ship, later you started to analyze projects that you, Hunk and Pidge came up with, and after some hours went by, you passed out, sleeping in your desk.
                          
Keith went to his room, he was mad at himself for what he had done to you, and also sad, but the thought of you leaving sooner because of what he did was making him feel even worse.
                          
He was sure some hours had already passed, but he didn't hear you coming back to your room, so he thought you were still in the deck, and maybe chill enough for him to apologise, he went there, only to find you sleeping in your desk.
                          
He found the scene kinda cute, your face was so calm while you were asleep, he stood that for a few seconds, watching and listening as the only sound in the whole hangar was your deep breathing.
                          
He picked you up easily, hoping for you to not wake up, took you to your room and let you on the bed and under the covers. He crouched it front of you, making his face stay in the same high as yours and taking a lock of hair away from your face.
                          
"I'm sorry for what I did" his voice was low and gentle "I guess I'm really starting to... Well, have feelings for you, and I was coming up with reasons for me to forget these feelings and dislike you, but I didn't think of your feelings, it was stupid from me, I really hope you forgive me when you are awake" his lips went close to yours, but he shook his head and gave you a light kiss on the forehead, leaving your room. 
                          
In the next morning, you weren't sure about how you went to your room in the last night, but you shook it off and went straight to the hangar again.
                          
You worked non-stop until Pidge showed up with something to analyze, so you decided to have a break from your ship and help her, since you were getting bored.
                          
The castle was heading to the coordinates you two found and Coran was explaining about Olkarion. Pidge was extremely hyped up, so you decided to get her even more excited.
                          
"Hey, I have some Olkari panels in my ship, I might let you configure them if you want" her eyes started sparkling.
                          
"(Y/N) I love you, Keith will need to get over it" you two laughed quietly as Coran was showing his Olkarian cube.
                          
When you arrived at the planet, Pidge invited you to go with her in the green lion, you hadn't been in Olkirion in years and it would be good to make a visit.
                          
You and the girl spent most of the time together, talking with Rainer about technology, you only were apart because both of you were able to make the golems from the trees. You were getting ready to go when Keith came to you.
                          
"May I catch a ride with you?" He asked with his eyes down.
                          
"Not enough room in any other? I think you can fit with Shiro" you weren't as mad as you were the day before, but it wasn't like you were just going to act like nothing happened, he had still hurt you.
                          
"There is, it's just...." He wasn't able to come up with an excuse, he started to blush and look around as if something would help him.
                          
"Just get in" you gave him your hand, helping him. During the way the atmosphere between you two was strange, like both knew something was bed between you two, but any of the parts wanted things to be wrong. 
                          
The plan was executed kinda differently from expected, and when you noticed, you were in the red lion with Keith and the big galra cubes had just been defeated.
                          
You let out a sharp breath when everything finally calmed down.
                          
"Being a paladin must be crazy" you said, leaning in the back of Keith's seat, making him look up at you.
                          
"And you saw nothing" you laughed, the tension had slowly disappeared between you two since the golem, but you were still waiting for Keith to apologise, which he has been planning for the whole day.
                          
"(Y/N)" he said as he got up and looked at you, after landing the red lion and taking off his helmet "I want to apologise for the things I said, and for how I acted with you, I was being stupid, I'm really really sorry for what I did, can you forgive me?" 
                          
Even if he didn't explain why he did the things he did, you could still see that he meant every word so you decided it was okay.
                          
"Yeah Keith, I forgive you" you smiled at him and, out of nowhere, he gave you a hug which you weren't expecting but was good either way, you never thought of Keith as a touchy person so you thought that maybe he does like you such as Pigde and Hunk suggested.
                          
When you broke apart, you were still really close to each other, close enough you could feel his breathing getting deeper and faster.
                          
"Keith, are you okay?" Your voice was low and you were looking at his eyes.
                          
"I'm it's just that... I really wanna kiss you right now" he didn't look at your eyes back, he was facing the floor, his bangs fell, covering the upper part of his face but it was still noticable that he was blushing.
                          
His statement cought you by surprise, you never thought would just talk his feelings openly for you like that, but the way he said seemed almost as if he was asking for permission.
                          
"Go on" you said, making he look at you in surprise.
