Hyunjin spent the next two weeks planning against johnny with his two bestfriends and chan - figuring out how to deal with him once and for all. 
                          
Let's just say things dont go according to plan.
                          
The four boys, over multiple group calls and facetimes, finally came up with a plan.
                          
"Okay can we go over it one more time?" Hyunjin requests, fingers against his temples - its 2 in the morning and hes on the verge of falling asleep, felix tapping on the side of his face every now and then when his eyes start to close. 
                          
"Yeah sure," minho starts, grunting as he pulls himself into a sitting position. "So basically you're gonna bait him out - pretend that you have evidence against him that could send him to jail, then blackmail him into leaving you alone." 
                          
"You make that sound like it's the easiest thing in the world." Hyunjin complains, flopping himself against felix. 
                          
"Hey guys? Can I have a minute alone with hyunjin?" Chans voice questions through the phone in the middle of the bed, suprising hyunjin enough to shoot up from felix's shoulder - in all honesty he's been so caught up in trying to come up with a decent plan he forgot chan was even there.
                          
The other two mumble as they shuffle tiredly out of the room, the door of jeongins room shutting in the distance. 
                          
"What's up channie? Is something bothering you?" The younger worries, leaning back against the headboard. 
                          
"I'm worried about you jinnie. Are you sure you're gonna be able to go through with this? After everything he's done?"
                          
"Yes I'm sure. I'm done with being afraid of him, I'm done letting him control me." Hyunjin argues, voice rising slightly in irritation. Chan knows how he feels, so why is he questioning him? Does he not trust him?
                          
"I promise you I'm fine. Do- do you not trust me?" Hyunjin sounds hurt, heart stopping after his question - scared of the answer that chan could give him. 
                          
"Of course I trust you, it's just after everything that happened a few weeks ago.." chan trails off, pain slithering into his voice as memories resurface. 
                          
"Its just I dont want anything like that happening again, especially when I'm not there. It scares me that it could happen again and what if you end up going through with it? I don't know if id be able to deal with it.." His voice cracks as he trails off again.
                          
'please stop bringing it up PLEASE' the younger silently pleads, he cant have himself be reminded of that headspace, not now. 
                          
"Its just I want to make sure that you're sure. I don't want you to push yourself into anything you aren't ready for."
                          
"I promise I'm ready for it. But the more you question me, the less sure I'll be, so just drop it please." Hyunjin snaps, too tired and annoyed to even care how he's speaking.
                          
".. okay. I'll talk to you later then. Goodnight jin."
                          
"Wait chan, no-" hyunjin starts but is cut off by the dial tone cutting through the room.

Hyunjin spent the next 3 hours tirelessly rolling around in bed, sleep evading him as guilt keeps rushing over him everytime he even thinks about chan. He sits up with a huff, head back against the head board with his eyes closed as he mulls over different solutions to his problem with chan.
