You woke up the next day to Bay and Alli laughing.
                          
"What is it you two?" You ask groggily.
                          
"Well did you see the paper?" Bay asks.
                          
"No? You two just woke me up." You told them.
                          
"Well it's laughable, you should hear the claims Rita skeeter makes." Alli said doing up her robes.
                          
"Okay hit me." You said.
                          
"'Miss Granger a plain but ambitious girl, seems to be developing a taste for famous wizards. Her latest pick is none other than Victor Krum, we only wonder how Harry Potter is taking this blow.  Granger is not the only one with more than one heart in mind, Y/n L/n and Cedric Diggory are Triwizard champions in love. Though one can question if Y/n has picked her man. After sharing a kiss with Mr. Diggory, L/n went on to be walked in her close friend Draco Malfoy, after seeing the two L/n and Malfoy shared harsh words before the Malfoy boy soon left in a rage, leaving many to wonder if there's a certain love triangle going on in between this tournament.' Like come on." You saw Bay going on to another paragraph and ripped the page form her.  You went on to read it wasn't about you for much longer.

"Like can you believe the lies she spits." Bay laughed.
                          
"Yeah as if anyone would believe that this happened." Alli agreed.
                          
"Y/n?" Bay asked seeing how you were looking dead into the paper.
                          
"What?" You said looking down.
                          
"Why are you acting strange, it's not as if this happened." Bay stated. "Did it?"
                          
"Maybe." You reveal.
                          
"Cedric kissed you!?" Bay shouted. 
                          
"Shhh!" You shushed her, not wanting the whole world to know.
                          
"What do you mean 'shhhh!' it's in the papers." Bay reminds you.
                          
"Well it just kinda happened." You tell her.
                          
"Just kinda happened?" Alli repeats.
                          
"Did you kiss him back?" Bay asks.
                          
"No... No... he just kind of kissed me." You tell them.
                          
"Without warning?" Alli asked shocked.
                          
"Yeah." You confirm.
                          
"I'll kill him." Bay threatens.
                          
"Hey, its okay I already hit him for it." You tell her.
                          
"Wait so Draco walked in?" Alli checked.
                          
"Yeah."
                          
"What'd he want?" Bay asked looking at the paper over your shoulder.
                          
"To check that I was okay... instead he tried to protect me from Cedric... and I yelled at him." You said just realising how much Draco cared.
                          
"Well you weren't in danger." Alli said but more asked.
                          
"Maybe not, but I mean Cedric did kiss me when we weren't really you know together." You reminded the two.
                          
"Yeah... Who knew Malfoy had eyes for you?" Bay said.
                          
"That's not what it means!" You shout before rolling your eyes and laughing.
                          
You and the two laughed and talked for a little longer before classes started.

Turns out Cedric's rumors were right the Yule ball was approaching and you needed to go dress shopping and find a partner knowing Cedric planned to ask Cho. You went to Bay and Alli.
