Author's POV
                          
"Well that was a short chapter." Yongho said from the couch as the rest looked at him. "But the sleep wasn't short though." Yoongi sighed out. 
                          
"Didn't your body feel weird after laying down for too long?" Hani asked out curiously. They were asleep for over a century wouldn't that fuck up their legs or anything? "You forgot that we're vampires honey." Hoseok chuckled in which made Hani let out a soft 'oh'. 
                          
Jihoon clasped his hand together, "Okay will this chapter be about how you guys met mom?" he asked causing Rachel to smile and nodded. "Yeah, but I'll make an appearance a bit late in here because this will show how your fathers adjust to the modern era." she said to the sweet boy who resembles Jimin a lot. 
                          
"Can we read it?" Jia asked while holding hands with Taehee who nodded. "Alright then." Nana handed the big book over but Jungkook held the book and placed them on the two girls' lap. 
                          
"Okay. Chapter three, a new century."

The seven vampire princes woke up at a start. The first one who got out from the coffin is Namjoon followed by Taehyung and then the others. "My brothers, we have awakened." Jin spoke up first. "How long have we been asleep?" Hoseok asked while looking around noticing how the chamber is literally covered with thick dust and spider webs.
                          
"Wait do you smell that?" Jimin closed his eyes while taking a deep breath. The sweet scent lingering around them caused all of their eyes to glow in bright red. "Mate." they all chorused together. "We finally get to meet our mate? After so long." Taehyung groaned out getting intoxicated by the scent of their precious mate.
                          
"Let's go and track her scent down." Jungkook said already taking a step forward to only be stopped by the fourth eldest of them seven. The black haired and dimpled guy had a tight grip around the youngest's bicep. "Stay down Jungkook. We just woke up from a who knows how long sleep. We need to gain energy back and consume some blood." Namjoon said sternly.
                          
At the mention of blood they finally noticed how parched they are. "Let's go up. Jungkook, Jin and Hoseok can go hunt for a deer or two for us. Once we get out energy back I'll try to get in touch with mother." Namjoon continued. 
                          
They all agreed at their brother's word and walked towards the staircase. Jimin paused in his tracks after noticing something, "Wait. One, two, three... there's six. Where's Yoongi hyung?" he said and turned around to notice their third eldest brother still fast asleep in his coffin.
                          
"Go wake him up Jimin." Jin sighed out as Jimin walked towards Yoongi's coffin. "Hyung, Yoongi hyung wake up." The younger vampire shook his body up but Yoongi groaned out and just slapped Jimin's hand away while turning his body around. "He just slept for probably three centuries and still fast asleep?" Hoseok mumbled.
                          
"I got this." Jungkook said. 
                          
They all finally went upstairs to see their mansion still in one piece, though some cleaning need to be done. "Ugh, this place looks hideous." Jin frowned after noticing everything is covered in dust. Hoseok who kept on sneezing decided to leave the mansion for fresh air, "Okay you three can go now. I'll go look around in father's study room." Namjoon said and stepped to the side when Jungkook walked past him carrying the huge heavy marble coffin on his shoulder before putting it down. A large puff of dust surrounded them as soon as the heavy coffin hit the floor.
                          
"Good job Jungkook. Go follow Jin and Hoseok hyung." Namjoon patted him on the back to which Jungkook grinned happily at the compliment and skipped towards his brothers. "Yoongi wake up." Namjoon knocked on the side of the coffin and finally Yoongi sat up with his hair sticking everywhere. 
                          
"What year is it?" he yawned before getting out of his coffin. "We don't know. Why don't you go look around. I'll be at father's study room." and with that Namjoon walked upstairs. Yoongi stepped out from the coffin while scratching his head and stretched his limbs out, he then walked towards upstairs where his room is at. The whole room is dark and dusty, the place looks like it was left literally a few centuries ago. Which is of course. Chanting a spell under his breath a bunch of brooms, feather duster and other cleaning supplies appeared as the items just floated around cleaning his room up. Yoongi left and explored the hallways the candles on the candle holders attached on the walls lit up as Yoongi walked past them. The dark hallways has now lit up, he then heard the voices from his brothers who returned from hunting downstairs.
                          
Jin dropped the carcass of the dead deer on the ground followed by Hoseok who dropped seven rabbits as well. "Jungkook haven't returned yet?" Jimin asked as he picked up a rabbit already feeling his fangs ache to sink in the warm body of the rabbit. "He said he'll do some hunting alone, let him be, we all know how he has the worst thirst among us." Jin waved as they all gathered around the dead animals.
                          
"This is only to fill up just a bit okay? Mom will come with enough blood for us all later. For now this will do." 
                          
'Namjoon come down.' Jin sent Namjoon a quick mind link informing the guy who went down instantly as they all fed on the animals. Once the animals are sucked dry Jimin sat on his knees and held his hands in front of the dead animals chanting a spell under his breath. A white orb came out from the animals each as they floated around Jimin before disappearing into thin air. 
                          
"Thank you." the guy whispered with his eyes closed before dragging the carcasses behind the mansion to dispose them properly. Jimin tend to do this spell everytime they fed on animals, it's to make sure that these animal's souls are happy and to appreciate that mother nature have given them to fed on her creatures. Jungkook came back an hour later looking energetic just in time as they gathered for a small family meeting.
                          
"I called mom and she said they will come over tomorrow. She told us that both her and father are not in Goguryeo right now." Namjoon said as the brothers nodded, "Oh well, we can look around the mansion to see if anything changes. Though I doubt that." Yoongi stretched as he laid comfortably on the sofa. The rest of the brothers nodded and went to explore by themselves. 
                          
Taehyung walked down the hallway and spotted the familiar vase. A flashback of him putting the necklace of Serendipity made him walked over to the vase and want surprised to see it empty. "Our mate probably has that necklace with them now." Taehyung mumbled before smiling faintly and whistled happily while walking down the hallways.
                          
The seven vampire princes all looked forward on their lives in this new era especially since the found their mate.
