I'd woken up this morning in my own bed with one mission in mind. I needed to take these letters to the police department and find out who was stalking me. After Jordan's confirmation and worry, I knew I wasn't crazy. Something was going on and as much as Seth wanted me to think positive, that was nowhere near an option at this point. Someone was watching me. They'd made it clear with their latest letter. Now, I just wanted to know who was sending these. Who is messing with my life? I was determined to find out. Thankfully my mom and dad agreed to keep Gracie last night and today until I get done with this.
I finished getting ready and then walked out of the bathroom as Seth was pulling his shirt on. "Hey beautiful. Where are you off to?" he asked with a smile.
I took a deep breath and clasped my hands together as I looked at him. "I'm going to the police station." I said. His smile dropped.
"What do you mean?" he asked. "I thought we discussed this."
"We did. And you know, I want nothing more than for this to be some sick joke and not real. But it is real and we can't hide from that." I said. "I got another letter right before we left home. Who it is, they're watching me. They said it in the letter. They've clearly been watching me for weeks if not months." He looked upset. I walked over and grabbed his hands in mine. "Look, I want to be positive. I do. I want to do that for you and for Gracie. And I thought I could. I really thought that if I just wished it away then it wouldn't be happening. But I can't. I can't wish this away and I can't act like this isn't happening. It is. And it's happening to me. I have to do this. I have to know who is sending me these letters because they clearly are not going away anytime soon. And I don't want to live in constant fear and always looking over my shoulder to see who's there. That's no way to live."
"I just don't want you to get hurt." he said.
"That's why I'm doing this." I said. "I don't wanna be hurt anymore. And I don't want anything to happen to you or Gracie or anyone else in my life. I have to protect all of you. And this is the first step in doing that." I looked at him and he still looked a little upset. "You can come with me if you want. I'd like us to do this together." He nodded and I smiled a little. We finished getting ready and then walked out the door. I hope we can get some answers.

Seth and I sat across the desk from a detective. Reeves was the name on his tag. "So, you've been getting these letters for how long?" he asked.
"About a month now." I said.
"Why didn't you bring them in sooner?" he asked as he leaned back in his chair.
"I thought it was just a fan. Somebody who I've made a difference for and who wanted to remain anonymous. But then the letters started getting more cryptic and more creepy and I wasn't feeling right about it." I told him.
"Is there anyone you can think of who might want to get at you?" he asked.
"Whoa, what are you saying?" Seth asked. "Are you implying that my wife would have pissed someone off so bad that they would seek her out? My wife is the kindest, most loyal woman I've ever met. The fact that you would even think such a thing...."
"Seth, this isn't helping." I said.
"Look, I understand your worry. And we're gonna do everything we can to find out who sent these to you." Reeves said. "But that means I need to gather this information. Is there anyone you can think of?"
I shook my head. "No." I said. Then it clicked. "Wait, I was attacked at work by a fan. He jumped the barricade and he tackled me and he had his hands around my neck. I don't know his name. They never told me but I never forgot that."
