Musicals were never Bea's thing. The East High student would much rather sit at home with her laptop and pizza. All of her friends seemed to be obsessed with musicals, trying to get her to go to whatever one they were seeing that week. But none of them were successful and Bea ended up staying at home. Musical's simply never interested her and Bea was sure that her opinion would never change. No matter what anyone did.
But when Bea's aunt comes to her school to put on High School Musical: The Musical, everyone becomes obsessed with being apart of the musical. Despite all the hype, Bea refused to even spare a glance at the musical. But being the historian and the niece of the teacher she's forced to attend every rehearsal. Where she meets Ricky Bowen and starts to fall. Hard.
