"Come on Audrey, get out of the taxi!" Darcy whined as she tried dragging me out of the car.
"No, can't I just... Wait for you here?"
She rolled her eyes. "Come on Audrey it'll be tons of fun I promise!!"
I sighed as I got out of the taxi, smiling politely at the taxi driver. "Thank you." I thanked him as he drove away.
Great.. now the best part. Going to the party. I'm pretty sure there was loud booming music that greeted us since I could hardly hear what Darcy was saying.
Thank god I'm partially deaf.
Sure.. it's made me become teased for it but honestly I'm used to it by now. I've gotten teased from both this and my looks back in elementary.
I've always been called things like, "deafy", "four eyes" for wearing glasses and for my crooked teeth.. which luckily I fixed with braces which I stopped wearing just last year.
"What'd you say??" I asked Darcy, as loudly as I could as I followed close behind her.
Goosebumps by Travis Scott played as everyone was getting drunk, smoking and dancing.
I coughed as I inhaled some of the smoke. I'm not a huge fan of smoking.
Darcy poured herself some soda on a cup. "You want some?"
"...Sure." I took the cup reluctantly, holding it out for her as she pour some of the coca cola from a bottle.
I just hope nobody put some drugs on it or something. As Darc closed the bottle, I heard one of the guys in the corner wolf whistle at her.
"Damn, mamacita!" He howled.
I glared at him a little, but Darcy didn't seem to mind. "It's okay Audrey. Let's just have some fun!"
I sighed.
"Alright.."
I looked around the room, my eyes landing on the green eyes of a boy I recognized. It took me a few moments before I remembered where I knew the boy from, it was the same Jonas guy I saw in the mall earlier. They were smoking and being more than just friendly with the girls at the party.
"So I see he interests you too?" Darcy teased as she noticed my staring.
I rolled my eyes. "I'm just looking at him because I recognized him."
"Yeah yeah whatever you say Miss Audrey." She sneered.. when she the. did the worst thing your best friend could ever do. She pushed me to where they were.
I almost tripped but one of them caught me.
"Woahhh there Missy, if you wanted me you could've just said so." The drunk guy slurred, flashing a small smirk.
It was obvious the guy was drunk because 1: He reeked of beer and 2: Nobody in their right minds would flirt with me.
I laughed nervously as I balanced myself.
"Well better luck next time, because .. I gotta go." I said as I backed away and walked back to Darcy. I shoved her.
"You bitch!" I yelled, not crazy mad but yeah.
"Come on, that guy loved you! You should've gave in!"
I scoffed.
"As if."
"Aw come on, loosen up a bit!" Darcy giggled as she moved her hips to the rhythm of the song, soon twerking.
"Darcy!" I whispered shouted, taking her arm and dragging her away from those pervs watching.
