Beckie's words stuck by me the whole day. Stop being a princess...Could she be referring to Mr. Black? Mr. Black's answered the questions and according to him he was in his home country and came to America right around the time we moved to Los Angeles. This means that the 'King' couldn't be him, my sister had permission from the guy so Mr. Black is in that area innocent. I shouldn't be worried this much but with my brother's freedom and safety on the line, I couldn't take risks.

"Babe, we here." I directed my attention to Ben.

He wanted me to met his football buddies. They were in town for a while and wanted to catch up. I nodded and looked out the window. We were in the old man's bar. They served the best Texan steak anyone could ask for.

"So they kind of on the crazy side but I can handle them," Ben said.

"Relax, love." I smiled at him. "I have brothers and I know football."

We went inside and the set up was that of an old bar that you would normally find in small towns in the woods. Everything was made of wood but it had that buzzing feeling that always brings you back here.

Candice and I met the twins here. Candice obviously knew them seeing as they worked together but I met them that Friday night and became victim to the twin spell but as soon as I could identify them we became friends and now we can't get rid of each other. I loved those two crazy animals.

We approached a table with five men. All of them looked in their late twenties but in amazing shape, in fact, they were all handsome young men. And although I shouldn't be doing this but I can't help but compare them to Mr. Black. Mr. Black was in a league of his own and he owned it.

"Guys!" Ben said drawing the men's attention to us.

"Benny boy." the blond man in the middle said.

"I didn't think you'll come." The older one with black hair said. "You never showed up for these things."

"I always come," Ben said with a smirk.

"Sure, you do." Said the Asian guy and that got me laughing. The look on his face showed that he was talking about a different kind of 'come'

"Well, look who we have here..." the blonde guy said. "A princess."

Is it just me or am I always referred to as a princess? What makes me royal material? Surely, I am as average as a sale person on a normal day. "Hi." I waved. "I am Rose."

"My girlfriend." Ben finished. "Babe, this is Lorenzo." Ben pointed to the blonde guy and I held out a hand for him to shake. "Next to him is Chad," I repeated my action. "Chad only talks when he must but he can pack quite a tackle." the men around the table agreed. "This is Timothy." He pointed to the Asian.

"Please call me Chan," he said as he shook my hand. "This idiot won't drop the Timothy thing."

"No problem, Timothy." I gave a little laugh. "I meant Chan."

The men around the table laugh while Chan scowled. "My girl," Ben said and kissed my forehead. "Moving on, we have Dennis." He pointed to the oldest one in the group. "Dennis is actually in his late thirties but he could outrun any one of us, Right old man."

"Hell yeah son." we all laughed at that. "Nice too finally meet you, Rose."

"Nice to meet you too." I shook his hand.

"Last but not least we have Russell," he said to the African American. "Russell owns the local energy shots you love."

Sevens are the best. Sevens are little energy drinks that are sized as shots. Those shot pack a pouch because two of those and you up all night. The thing with sevens is that it can be more dangerous than alcohol so it was scratched from big markets but you still find it at small or local to convenient stores.

"God, I am in love with your product." I took a seat next to him. "Like tell me, if I take one shot with a pain tablet, will I get high?"

"Easy tiger." Ben lifted me off my chair and he took a seat and placed me on his lap. "She gets excited quickly, sorry."

"Whatever Ben." the table lifted in conversation. But I was still busy with Russel. "So...can I?"

He gave a little laugh. "Well no little lady, you probably sleep for a few long hours and be heavily hangover the next morning." He said with a smile on his face. "You see, I used the normal usage of an energy drink and then crushed it into a smaller volume package."

"So the normal rate to finish an energy drink subsides meaning the same dosage but in less time." that got me thinking. "It messes your system up totally because the time it takes to digest that much energy drinks are lessened." I smiled at him. "Kind of, clever."

Drinks with the guys were the best. Ben wasn't as tough as he is now nor was he popular. He was an ugly duckling but boy, did he change. Benny had the best name, Kara and it was a topic no one wanted to talk about. The boys were driving down to Hollywood after lunch and Ben and I went to watch movies.

We acted like a new couple. Holding hands, stealing kisses, hugs and most of all Loving each other openly. We had become too much of an old married couple to notice that we were drifting apart.

If he slept over, we would both be too tired to do anything and go sleep. The next morning would be work and the cycle would repeat. I missed Ben and my love for him as fading.

As much as Ben doesn't want to admit it, he knew and felt the same way. We were drifting and it wasn't the same. We didn't have our crazy moments or our silly arguments anymore. If we disagreed, Ben would agree to avoid the whole thing. We were lost but today was exactly what we needed.

Ben and I went to the fair, we watched movies, we walked on the beach and we were happy. We currently sitting in the backseat of his car at night listening to the waves of the water. The water crashing on the shoreline was calming. Me laying on Ben underneath the starry night was calming.

"Out of all the stars, you shine the brightest, my flower," Ben commented.

"And out of all Ben's, you're my favorite." I smiled at him.

"Rose...." the buzzing of his phone cut him off. I nodded my head for him to answer.

As he was talking to the person on the other line, I listened to his heartbeat. Ben was a strange human. His heartbeat wasn't in the normal range but he never complains about the pain or anything. Born with a heart problem, he could never do certain things but Ben proved everyone wrong and did the impossible.

"Rose, They broke in at the warehouse and it was the one I was in charge of." He said with full seriousness. "The men are still loading out the warehouse." he kissed my forehead. "No matter want happens, Rosie. You are my one and only."

"Forever?"

"And after." he kissed me.
