"So.. the anatomy project."
"We can just Google something later, let me kiss you pleaaasee~" The two had time before work and were once again in the flower fields near their favorite park.
"Hey! I told you earlier today, no kisses."
"It wasn't my fault, you were being cute."
"You laughed at me.." Beomgyu blushed when crossing his arms, pouting and looking away.
"It was funnyyyy~ you know it was."
Taehyun had his head in Beomgyu's lap and tried pulling Beomgyu head closer to his,but the male was quick to pull away.
"No." Beomgyu was soft with his scolding. Beomgyu laid his head on the grass and looked at the sky sighing softly.
Taehyun sat up and moved to lay down next to the male. Placing his head on his schoolbag. He glanced at Beomgyu before pulling Beomgyu's head to rest on his chest.
"What's up? Talk to me."
"I don't know.. I'm just concerned about everything."
Taehyun hummed to urge Beomgyu to keep talking.
"Like.. school.. I don't know how far they'll take it, and I'm worried that one day they'll push me past my limit. I don't.. I don't want that day to come.. and.. my dad.."
Taehyun stroked Beomgyu's hair, causing the boy to feel comfort and close his eyes while he mumbled softly to Taehyun.
"Taehyun I don't feel safe anywhere." Beomgyu admitted, feeling tears well up in his eyes. "I'm always on edge and I'm always hoping not to be caught alone with one of Si-Joon's jerks and I can't live like this Taehyun." Beomgyu sniffed.
"I can't live looking over my shoulder and calculating every move and... everything they say hurts." The tears were falling steadily now.
"They're so mean Taehyun.. and I've been acting like it's okay. It's not okay. I don't feel okay. And you're the only one who makes me feel like it is okay. And like there's hope." Beomgyu wiped his eyes with Taehyun's hoodie sleeves.
"But even after all that, I can't help but think that I'm a burden. And you tell me not to think these things.. but you're just so.. so perfect. You deserve someone who's just as perfect as you Hyunnie. And I love you so much, I don't know if you will ever love me as much as I love you. And I-I get so scared." Beomgyu bit his lip and looked away. "I get so scared that you'll realize it too."
Taehyun listened to his boyfriends ranting intently, rubbing his back when he got riled up and wiping his tears when he was too tired to realize they were still falling.
"Gyu.. you want to know what I think? " Beomgyu looked up and met Taehyun's eyes. "I think all this time, people have been telling you these negative things.. and now you're believing them. Gyu you're nothing like they say you are. You know what happened that night, you know who the real victim is."
He hugged the male closer to him before continuing to speak. "I love you. And I'm here for you. I've been here for you, it's crazy how long we've been separated when we're meant for each other like this. And I know we've talked about it before but I'm serious. I want a future with you. I want to go to a college far from here, one that gives us a chance to be ourselves freely. And we will. I'll make it happen Gyu. Just trust me."
Both males were overcome by emotions. Taehyun sat up and pulled Beomgyu above him into a straddle before placing his hands high on Beomgyu's thighs and kissing Beomgyu deeply. Rubbing the sensitive area between Beomgyu's thigh and hip with his thumbs because he knows how much Beomgyu likes it. And Beomgyu ran his hands through Taehyun's hair because he also knows how much Taehyun likes it. The two males remained connected until they had to leave for their work.
