Yûsuke's POV:
I was holding my tears the best I could. I needed answers. All I could remember was that I had a lovely family of five. Now I feel like I know nothing. I feel betrayed, lost in confusion. Now I don't know who I am. And what's even worst, how will my brothers feel after knowing this? I know it's hard, but they deserve to know the truth. We deserve it. I closed my fists with anger, still containing my desire to cry. I have to be strong, for my brothers.
I arrived home. At least that's how I used to call it until now. This stinks of lies. I opened the door and stood in front of the family pictures. A tear escaped from my left eye. How could I be so blind? There isn't a single picture of us from our childhood. Not a single memory of our first footsteps, our first day of school, our first holiday, nothing.
"Yûsuke? Is that you?" I heard my mother calling me from the kitchen.
I reached my bedroom before she could even look me at the face. I locked my door and searched in the computer for The Rowdyruff boys until I could find pictures of us and some information. I printed everything and took another look at it.
"Brick" Momoko's voice jumped inside my head.
So that's my real name. Yoshito's real name is Boomer and Ryu's name is Butch. We do look very evil. Suddenly, I heard someone knocking on my door.
"Yûsuke, lunch is ready. If you take too long, I'll eat your portion of carrot cake" Ryu told me.
"Coming" I responded and hid the papers inside my closet.
Maybe it's not the time, yet.
Yoshito's POV:
I was still pretty upset about what happened at Himeko's party. I hate Takaaki! He stole Miyako's attention the whole time! I didn't have the chance to dance with her again, or even talk to her privately. I was frustrated.
"Yoshito, what's wrong? The steak is not well cooked?" my mom asked me.
"No, mom. It's perfect. Thank you" I replied.
"Then why aren't you eating? Aren't you hungry?" she insisted.
"Yes, I am. I'm sorry, mom. I'm a little distracted. That's all" I smiled to her and started eating.
I didn't want her to worry about me, so I pretended everything was fine. Then, Ryu sat on my left. He looked a little strange. Although he is serious all the time, you can easily tell when something bothers him.
"Where's Yûsuke?" mom asked him.
"He is coming" he answered and started eating.
Just then, Yûsuke arrived and took a seat in front of Ryu. What's wrong with them? Yûsuke doesn't seem well neither. I guess I'll have to ask them when lunch is over.
Ryu's POV:
After lunch, Yoshito asked me to meet him at Yûsuke's bedroom, since he's the only one of us who cleans his room. I noticed Yûsuke was acting weird during lunch. He always helps mom prepare the table or clean up. This time he barely ate and left without helping her. Yoshito and I helped her and promised her to talk with him. When we went to Yûsuke's room, his door was surprisingly locked.
"Yûsuke, is us. Open the door" Yoshito knocked.
"Do you realize this is the first time you actually knock before entering a room?" I asked him with sarcasm.
"I had no choice" he shrugged.
We heard the door open.
"So you do know how to knock?" Yûsuke rolled his eyes.
