I laid on my bed and realized that I was starving and in need of food. So I walked through the hallway and into the kitchen, thinking no else, except Yuki and myself, had completed their search of the second floor. That is why I was shocked to see Yorua enter the kitchen a few moments after I had.
Ari: Oh, hello Yorua. I wasn't expecting to see you.
Yorua: I-I could s-say the same about y-you.
Ari: I'm assuming you have finished investigating the other floor.
Yorua: Y-yes, I did. D-did you?
Ari: Yeah, I did, and I decided that I needed food in my stomach.
Yorua: I can make you something.
Ari: No, it's fine. I can make myself a meal.
Yorua: I c-can do it. As a t-treat for b-being so k-kind to me.
Ari: I wouldn't say I've been kind to you. I was pretty rude to you when you entered here. I am sorry.
Yorua: That might have been, but you have treated better than others.
Ari: Okay, if you want to, you can make me food.
I went over to the other side of the bar, and Yorua went to the fridge.
Yorua: W-Would s-sandwiches be okay?
Ari: Of course, I would love a sandwich or two.
Yorua: T-that's good. I-I make pretty g-good sandwiches from experience.
Ari: Do you make sandwiches often?
Yorua: C-considering it's the only t-thing I can m-make, yeah.
Ari: Do you want me to teach you how to make something?
Yorua: M-maybe some other time. I-I want to make you something as a piece of m-my appreciation.
Ari: Okay, I'll look forward to it.
Yorua: W-what do you want on your s-sandwich?
Ari: Surprise me, I trust you.
Yorua: T-trust?
Ari: Yeah, we are friends, aren't we?
Yorua: I've never had a friend who wasn't related to me.
Ari: Glad, I could be the first.
Yorua smiled. It was the first time I've seen her happy. I'm thankful to see that smile. Hopefully, I can do it again.
Yorua: Almost there and done!
Yorua came around the corner with two plates with two sandwiches on each. I took my first bite, expecting a simple sandwich. Boy, I was wrong!
Ari: Yorua, this is amazing!
Yorua: R-really?
Ari: Yeah! You could have fooled it for something the Ultimate Chef made.
Yorua: T-thank you!
After that, silence filled the room.
Ari: So what is your worst fear?
Yorua: W-What?
Way to ruin the moment, Ari.
Ari: I thought if I asked you a question about something random that it would help us become closer to each other.
Yorua: It would have to be crowds.
Ari: Really?
Yorua: Y-Yeah, but why is that s-shocking?
Ari: I would think that the Ultimate Clown would be confident in front of a crowd.
Yorua: O-one would think that, but I have had a few bad crowds that even threw tomatoes at me.
Ari: Gosh! That's crazy!
Yorua: So what about you?
Ari: I'm afraid of what's in the dark.
Yorua: I guess that's reasonable.
Yorua giggled a bit, but she tried to hide it. She didn't stutter.
Yorua: Excuse me.
Ari: Thanks for lunch, Yorua.
Yorua: Anytime, friend.
She smiled while saying it.
Ari: Bye, friend.
I left the kitchen and returned to my room. Man, that was an awesome meal. I can't wait to teach Yorua to cook.
