Mistaken identity

----Tomoyo’s POV------

        The doorknob was turned.

        The door slowly opened.

A screeched sound came from the door like what you can hear on the horror movies.

        I counted.

        One… I hold my breath

Two… Gripped the vase tightly. A man entered.

Three… with all my might swung the vase sideward aimed to the head.

---------Levi’s POV------

I was walking towards the guest room. My light footsteps resonated through the silent corridor at my house. I was going to check if Tomoyo has already been awake and the tranquilizer’s effect had worn-out.

I hadn’t bothered myself to knock and just turned the knob open. I slowly opened the door for I have noticed that the lights were turn-off. As long as I can remember I had left the room with lights on.

I entered the room and was going to turn on the lights. But when I look down, the light that transverse through the door illuminated a small trash which hurriedly caught my attention. I crouched down to pick the candy wrapper.

Suddenly, I feel the air brushed to my face when I crouched down, followed by a loud shattered sound of a glass. Thanks for my love of cleanliness I had been keep away from danger.

--------Tomoyo’s POV--------

Unluckily the man crouched down. The vase was shuttered as it hit the door. The door closed with the great force I used as the vase impact.

The room was in total pitch black.

“Oh no! I didn’t have an alternative plan. What should I do?”

''I must not lose hope. Relax. Take a deep breath and focus.” I ordered myself though my mind. “Remember what Mikasa told you.” I pointed to myself.

I was on my fighting stance. All senses open. I heard something on my right and with pure instinct punch it. I heard a groan and I moved a step back. I had bumped something on my back. I elbowed it but it didn’t bother to him. He locked my hand on my back. I lose my balanced and I fell to the floor with the man which I considered the kidnapper. My hand escaped from his grip but I felt I was pinned to the floor. I can’t move. My hands again were captured above my head. I struggled to let go and still unable to see unto the darkness.

Hurrying footsteps were approaching. The door shot open. Lights turned on.

I saw a figure of a woman on the door I can’t picture who it was as my eyes were adjusting with the sudden brightness.

“Leeevvviii” squealed by the woman at the door.
