Chapter 15:Saturday

                                    

                                          
I wake up. I look at the time, its 10:10. I'm so glad today is Saturday. Tomorrow is my birthday. Luke said he and his parents are taking me to dinner tomorrow. 
                          
I get dressed and head downstairs.
                          
"Hi!" I say.
                          
"Hello dear." Mrs.Jackson says.
                          
"Hey." Luke says.
                          
"Hiya!" Mr.Jackson says.
I smile. 
                          
After I eat breakfast I head upstairs. I turn on the TV. After an hour passes, I turn off the TV and take a break. 
                          
I lay on my bed and look at the teddy bear I had that my real parents gave me when I was born. I smile as I look at it. Suddenly tears start coming down my face.
                          
"Mom..Dad..Where are you?" I whisper to myself. "Where are you?" I say again. "Why did you leave me? Why?" I whisper to myself as tears come down my face again.
                          
I wipe them and hug the teddy bear.
                          
I hear a knock on my door. I quickly wipe my tears. "Yeah?" I say.
                          
"Hey Nikki I was wondering if you wanna go laser tagging with me?" Luke says.
                          
"Sure ill be out in a sec." I say.
                          
I put my makeup on and make sure I don't look like I was crying. I braid my hair and wear my sneakers.
                          
I open the door. I walk outside and head in the car.
                          
"Today were going to have some fun!" Mr.Jackson says.
                          
"We're going laser tagging!" Mrs.Jackson says.
                          
"Awesome." I say with a smile.
                          
"Haha ill beat you guys." Luke says with a chuckle.
                          
"I never been laser tagging but who knows maybe I'm good at it." I say.
                          
We arrive there and we head inside. Mrs and mr.Jackson pay. We wait and its finally our game. We go inside a dark room and they turn on the TV. A video starts playing and explains the rules. 
                          
After the video we decide teams. Me and Luke VRS Mrs.Jackson and Mr.Jackson. 
                          
We put on our vests and get our guns.
                          
"This is gonna be fun." Luke says.
                          
"Yup!" I smile excitedly.
                          
We run in and start playing. 
                          
After the game:
"That was AWSOME!" I say.
                          
"We won." Luke says.
                          
"Haha we'll beat you next time!" Mr.Jackson says with a chuckle.
                          
"Your parents are so cool." I say to Luke.
                          
"Thanks." He says.
