Hermione stood on the platform, watching as the train came to a stop. Draco slipped a sweaty hand into hers. "Our first summer together." She could practically hear the grimace in his voice. She squeezed his hand in reassurance.

Children surged out of the train. A mass of curly hair caught her attention. "Here they come." Her voice was steady even though she was just as nervous as Draco.

"Mum!" Rose ran up to her and gave her a hug before giving Draco a hesitant hug.

"Where's Scorpius?" She asked her daughter.

"I'm here!" A pale hand squeezed through the throng of people. Rose huffed her annoyance and went to pull him out of the crowd. "Thanks." He panted.

Draco laughed and ruffled his son's hair. "You need to be more like a Granger." He teased.

"Weasley." Rose huffed at the same time Hermione smiled. "Malfoy."

"Dad, you got two different responses."

Draco gave the girls an amused smile. "They're both Granger's at heart. Fiercest women in both the wizarding and muggle worlds."

"Well thanks, just leave me out." Ginny joined their group with a fake scowl. James, Albus, and Lily followed behind her. Albus and Scorpius shared a bemused look. Ginny turned to her, pretending to be annoyed with Draco. "Mum wanted me to remind you about family dinner today."

Draco groaned, causing Hermione to elbow him. "We'll be there."

"Good." With that, Ginny shooed her children off of the platform and into Kings Cross.

"Do we have to go?"

"I love grandma Weasley's cooking." Scorpius rubbed his hands together in anticipation. Hermione and Draco both cocked an eyebrow at him. Scorpius flushed red. "She made me call her that...and she will technically become my grandma...in the future." He whispered in embarrassment.

Rose snorted. "Looking ahead in the future, are we?" This caused the poor boy to blush even more.

Draco snickered at his son's comment. Hermione elbowed him before turning to Scorpius. "Well, I think it's cute." Draco's snickers turned into full blown laughter. She sent him a scowl which did nothing to calm him down. People started to stare at them, some in confusion, some with their own laughter, others in hatred. Hermione paid no attention to the onlookers, if they wanted to look, then let them. "Okay, who wants to apparate with me?" Scorpius shot his laughing father a look before he grabbed her hand. Draco scowled, confused as to why his son wouldn't choose him. Hermione smirked. "I'll see you two there." With the popping sound that was associated with apparating, she and Scorpius landed at the front door of the burrow. A few seconds later, Draco and Rose appeared beside them.

She pushed open the door without knocking. Voices floated to the front door from the kitchen. The four of them walked in on Molly, Narcissa, George, and Angelina deep in conversation. Draco hesitated, "Mum?"

"Grandma!" Scorpius ran up to Narcissa and gave her a hug.

Narcissa hugged her grandson back before turning a scowl onto her son. "Am I not allowed to be here?" Her voice dripped with sarcasm.

Molly waved her hand about, looking as if she wanted to slap Draco. "Don't be silly. You're always welcomed, Narcissa."

Draco's mouth dropped open while Hermione snickered. It was bound to happen, the friendship of Molly Weasley and Narcissa Malfoy.

Ginny and Harry walked in with their kids then. Harry stopped in his tracks and his mouth dropped open at the sight of Narcissa standing in the Weasley kitchen as if she belonged there.

"If you two keep your mouths open any longer, a Nargle or something that's actually real might fly in." George slapped both boys in the back.

Ginny doubled over in laughter. "This...is why...I...didn't...tell him!" Both Harry and Draco slammed their mouths shut and sent a glare in Ginny's wheezing direction.

Molly tsked her annoyance. "That's enough of-" a tapping came from the window. "-Oh, what is it now!" Molly slammed her hands to her side, annoyed at being interrupted.

Narcissa strode over to the window to let in Gristlen, Hermione's grey spotted owl. "Hermione dear, you have a letter."

Hermione took the letter out of Narcissa's outstretched hand and opened it.

Hermione,

I just wanted to let you know that the annual family reunion is to take place next weekend. You haven't been to one since your sixth year at Hogwarts. I know life has been busy for you but I do hope that you, Draco, and the kids could come. I think it would do some good for you to come and your grandparents miss you very much. If you do decide to come, it's being held at the P & Z Hotel.

Love, mum.

George snorted from over her shoulder. "You gonna go?"

Molly whipped her son on the shoulder with her hand towel. "It's rude to read over someone's shoulder." She berated him.

Draco came over to her. "What is it?"

"Mum wants us to attend the family reunion." Hermione was still processing the information. It's not that she didn't want to go, it was just that she was afraid they would ask her personal questions, questions that would involve information about the wizarding world.

"You should go dear. You were just telling me the other day how you missed your muggle family." Molly gave her a supportive smile.

Hermione turned to her family. "What do you guys say?"

Scorpius was the first to answer her. "I've never been near muggles. Could we go shopping in the muggle stores?"

"That would be fun. I wanted to buy some muggle books." Rose gave an answer that Hermione would have given. Actually, now that she thought about it, she could use some new books herself.

Draco wrapped an arm around her waist. "It's whatever you decide, though I would like to meet the rest of your family."

"That settles it." Narcissa put her hands together and smiled. "We're going to a muggle family reunion."

"Yes!" Ginny and George fist bumped each other.

"Oh no, no." Hermione waved her hands. "I don't need a bunch of wizards there. You guys would definitely let something slip. It'll just be me, Draco, Rose, and Scorpius that will attend."

. . .

Narcissa waited until her son and his family left before she approached the bafoon. "Did you read the time and place?"

His lips lifted up in a wide grin. "Of course. I wouldn't be a very good Weasley if I didn't. We gonna crash?"

"Crash what? George, please tell me you didn't crash your father's new contraption." Molly put her hands on her hips and stared her son down accusingly.

"Relax, Molly." Narcissa wrapped her arm in Molly's, it was surprising at how fast she had started considering the woman a friend. "We're crashing Hermione's muggle family reunion."

Molly frowned for a second before her face lit up. "I always wanted to meet her side of the family, other than her parents, of course." She looked at her son and tried to frown. "You should be ashamed of yourself." She waved her finger at him.

Angelina picked that moment to enter into the kitchen. "What did he do now?"

George walked up to his wife and kissed her on the cheek. "Nothing, this time. You wanna come with us to meet the Grangers?"

Angelina smiled fondly. "I should have guessed."
