He hasn't change much, he looks the same, but much less stressed and tired, he looked a lot better and healthier, he seemed taller and his body is more built up, he wore a total black attire, a plain black cloak with high collar, black shirt and pants it with a white belt on his waist, black shoes with black leg warmers, he was holding his straw hat that resembled his old one in his hand, as he wore a pair of fingerless gloves.
"Mom!!! Who is he?!!!", Tatsu asked pulling on the sleeve of your kimono as he looked at Itachi with a cute frown on his face. You were too lost in thoughts that you even forgot to expalin to Tatsu who is this person or say anything... "He is...your..d-dad...", you said in a faint voice, as tears started to slide down your cheeks. "Dad??!!", the little boy exclaimed loudly, his eyes widening in surprise, really?! "Go to him...", you whispered with a small smile as you gently pushed your son forward, he looked back at you confused a little, then turned around towards Itachi who has been standing a distance away from the two of you.
"DAD!!", Tatsu screamed happily, laughing and starting to run towards Itachi, who smiled and bent down opening his arms for his son waiting and welcoming him, then catching him as the little boy threw himself in his dad's embrace. "Yes son...I'm your dad...", Itachi whispered to Tatsu as he lifted him up and hugged him dearly, kissing him all over his cute face and head, while the little boy giggled loudly and happily, wrapping his small arms around Itachi's neck and resting his cheek on his shoulder, closing his eyes and smiling, feeling overjoyed.
It was a father and son moment, something you thought you would never see happening in real life... You were still crying silenlty, standing in your place just watching them, not even able to move from your place still under a shock, how did this happen? How come that he is alive?! Many questions were inside your head, but at that moment, you only focused on the fact that, Itachi, is back.
"Aren't you coming too, [name]?"
You snapped out of your little moment of thoughts as you heard him say your name, he was smiling at you while holding Tatsu with one arm, opening his other one, waiting for you. You didn't say anything, you finally managed to take a step forward, then another, and another, then you just started running to him. You threw yourself in his arms as he wrapped his arm around you tight, pulling you to his chest as close as he can. You clutched tight on him, letting yourself melt in the moment as you took deepily in his scent, the scent you have been craving for long, while he showered you with love and kisses, Tatsu was still in his dad's other arm resting his cheek on his shoulder smiling and really enjoying the moment. This is not an illusion, this is truely Itachi, you can feel his heart beating fast like yours...
"I'm sorry...I'm so sorry my love for everything...", he whispered as his hand was on the back of your head pressing it against his chest and gently stroking your hair. You looked up at him with your teary eyes, still hard for you to believe that he...is back. "Itachi...how?", you whispered, lifting your head up and looking at him and touching his face with your shaking hand, as all what you have been passing through ever since he left that morning came back to your mind in a quick flashback...your desperate attempts to heal him and bring him back to life...finding out you're pregnant...waiting for him to return...the edo tensei...
"I'm back...I'm not leaving again...I promise...I will tell you everything later...", he whispered, as you can see some rare tears falling down from his eyes as he looked deepily into your [e/c] eyes, as he then kissed you.
The sun had just was just about to go down.... "Mom, let's go inside, I'm starting to get hungry", you looked at your side to see Tatsu still clutching at Itachi tight as he looked at you with his beautiful eyes, you looked at Itachi, seeing him smiling at you warmly as he nodded at what his son said.
"Let's get inside then", Itachi said as you nodded slowly, he then started walking to the entrance of your house, with your little son still in his arm, as he wrapped his other arm around your waist, keeping your close as then the three of you disappeared inside your home.
