During one eve, Narumi settles down to gaze upon the heartwarming scenery exhibited by the veranda. Two spirited children inhabited her beloved's focus as the trio chattered amicably as heavy fog dense loom covering the greenery thicket. The lulling sound of the tall waterfall incorporated with adorable laughter of kids, she grinned feeling the contagious emotion.

If only I can keep this closer to my heart, she thought to herself.

All of a sudden, the calming ambience began to feel unusual just as Narumi discerns another dominant aura. Her heartrate escalated crippled by anxiety realizing her little world was about to collapse in little shards of glasses when she races recklessly towards Ukito who glances up a smile on his unbeknownst countenance quickly changes to frown in befuddlement.

"What is the matter, Narumi dear?" he got upright while the glamour children vanishes.

She turned petrified eyes to Ukito out of nowhere, the pair were staring at the newcomer. The bright light surrounding when the mortal fainted on sight, he had witnessed the transformation of a God meanwhile, the young Goddess shrieked his name in despair.

"Foolish Deity!" his booming voice covers the entire surface.

Birds flapped into the irridescent sky, the echo still reveberating while Narumi could only stand in front of the lain figure in a valiant hope to hide him from view. Tears threatened to fall whereas she was the only one to be able to acknowledge His presence, at first the frightened Deity put out both hands on each side but the aura became too strong for her eventually gasping in pain.

One hand clenches onto the heavy material in front of her chest as another pressing on the ground. Head loomed forth as thick mane veils her pale complexion when she senses the Fearsome God approaching her.

Mouth agape, Narumi looks upward spying a pair of raging eyes staring down at her when those same orbs flickers to the human behind. A dark scowl appears on his profile before taking in the vicinity finally back to her.

"Narumi, what are you doing?" His voice sent chills down her spine.

"I..." she shook her head unsure on how to answer.

"What is it?" The God never budged from his spot.

"I have taken a liking to this mortal," Narumi whispers in a shaky tone.

"So you intervene with his life?" He shot back in a loud voice.

"I didn't..." She began to cry feeling guilt inching within her heart.

"The penalty you will face for breaking the rules of the Heavens," He continued in a baritone vocal. "Narumi, you have disrespected me."

"I'm sorry," she hiccuped while sobbing quietly. "Please, do not hurt him..."

"Rectify your mistake, Narumi, I shall bestow you one chance," He steps away boring a hole into her.

After the disappearance of the God the ambience changes while Ukito struggles to wake up. Narumi cradles her lover's head against the soft lap bending low to peck a kiss on his forehead.

"What... happened?" he murmured in confusion.

"Nothing..." she shook her head in a forlorn manner.

"Narumi..."

"Not now," the voice strained before Narumi allowed emotions surfacing. "I'm sorry..."

"What is the matter, Narumi?" Ukito righted himself to pull her into his embrace.

"I don't want you to leave me!" she caterwaul against his chest. "But forgive me, I have hurt you as well as your family because of my selfishness!"
