Payton's POV
I was staying the night with Jackson to help him unpack his stuff when I heard a loud bang come from what I think is Lily's Room. Jackson and I look at each other and run to Lily's room.

Jackson's POV
Payton and I were unboxing my video games when we heard a loud bang come from Lily's room. We glanced at each other and bolted to her door.  As we walked in we saw Lily knocked out on the ground with her ex-boyfriend Kyle standing over her with a bat. My eyes got blurry from tears as I scream at Kyle, "What the hell are you doing here?! How did you find us?! What did you do to her?!!" I could tell Payton was very confused. Payton called the cops without anyone noticing. They arrested Kyle as they took Lily in an ambulance with Payton and I following in my car right behind them. When we arrived, I ran to the lady at the front desk trying to ask where my sister was but I couldn't talk. "We're looking for Lily Felt. What room is she in?" I heard Payton ask the lady. "Relationship?" She asked as I blurted out, "I'm her twin brother, where is she?" She guides us to Lily's room where I see her lying in her bed not moving. Payton brings me over to the chair next to Lily's bed and calls our parents. When my mom and dad come in, my mom is crying and dad is holding onto her. 
  They asked me what happened but I'm crying too much to talk so I nudge Payton indicating for him to explain. "Jackson and I were unpacking his video games when we heard a loud noise come from Lily's room. We ran to her door and when we walked in we saw Lily knocked out on the ground with her ex-boyfriend Kyle standing over her with a bat." Payton says then let's out a small sigh. My mom then falls to her knees crying. My dad had an angry expression on his face as he angrily asks, "what happened to Kyle?" Payton then tells him, "I called the police while Jackson was screaming at him." All of sudden my mom engulfs Payton into the biggest hug knocking the wind out of him. She was crying into his shoulder thanking him when Lily's hand moves to mine. 
  I look up at her with tears in my eyes. "W-What happened?" She quietly mutters. "Kyle happened." I reply. She immediately starts crying at the mention of her abusive ex-boyfriend's name. He used to hit her and rape her when she would try to break up with him. The only reason they broke up was because she told me about what he was doing to her, I beat the hell out of him and said if he ever hurt her again I'd kill him, and now I'm planning on it. She could have died tonight. I hugged her for a good 45 seconds when she winced in pain from her head. I immediately let go and apologized probably a million times before she told me to stop. She looked at my mom crying and told her, "Mom stop crying. I'm okay. Please don't cry." Mom then hugged her. 
The doctor came into Lily's room and said, " Ms. Felt? You have to stay here tonight, you may go home tomorrow afternoon. If you'd like you can have up to two people stay with you tonight." Lily immediately looked at me as if to say I was staying. "Yeah I'll stay. Payton do you want to stay with me?" I asked looking over at him. "Yeah sure." He replied.
