The day started off as any other day. Ermias woke up early to do his morning rituals, like sage the house to get rid of any negative energy before we all left the house, wake the oldest kids up so they could get ready for school and make them breakfast before dropping them off.
Normally I would be waking up shortly after they left so I could spend time with Kross before heading out to film season 2 of Queen of the Hustle, but today was my day off so Nefi was letting me rest by taking care of Kross whenever he woke up. Soon as I heard the front door close I immediately drifted back off to sleep.
About an hour later later I felt the bed dip. I slowly opened my eyes to see Ermias quietly listening to beats to record over with headphones on.
I loved so much how hardworking my husband was. Giving one hundred percent dedication to whatever it was he was working on whether it be his music or his work in the community. It makes me happy seeing him do the things he's passionate about.
I also adored how, even though while in Creative Mode, was usually when he'd keep to him himself he still couldn't help his want to be close to me or in close proximity though he thought I was sleep as he absentmindedly rubbed my thigh with one hand as he wrote down lyrics on a notebook with the other.
I so desperately wanted to get up and shower my husband with love and affection before starting my day, but while my mind was up my body didn't seem to be on the same accord. Even the ability to speak seemed to be temporarily unavailable as if I was having some sort of sleep paralysis.
Hopefully it was just my body telling me that I was more tired than I thought and I would fall back to sleep. I've heard of people having really bad experiences from shit like this like some Nightmare on Elm Street type shit, and Ya girl was not tryna have that.
