(3rd Person POV)
                          
(Y/N) wakes up feeling something he hasn't felt very often. He feels comfortable. He opens his eyes and sees he's in a bed. (Y/N) is surprised by this and sits up before looking around the room he's in before realizing he's just in his dorm. He sighs to himself as he realizes nobody else is in the dorm and he's in Weiss' bed. Just as he thinks this the dorm opens revealing Weiss. "Finally you're awake. Do you have any idea how worried every one was about you?" Weiss says noticing (Y/N) is awake. "I-i'm sorry..." he responds nervously. "You're lucky your mom found you. You could have been attacked by Grimm!" Weiss points out. (Y/N) didn't even think about that. "I... I called her mom..." (Y/N) says thinking about what happened in the forest. "What?" Weiss says confused. "Wh-when my mom found me I was terrified, but then she sang to me and I started to fall asleep. Before I did though... I called her mom..." (Y/N) says thinking. Weiss sits next to him. "So, what do you think that means for your relationship with them?" Weiss asks. "I... I really don't know... I guess they now know i still see them as family." (Y/N) says. "I just noticed you're stuttering less." Weiss says smiling. "Wow yeah I am. This is the least i've stuttered around anyone other than Uncle Qrow." (Y/N) says. Suddenly his stomach growls. "I should probably go get something to eat..." (Y/N) says before getting up and leaving to get something to eat.

(Y/N) was just sitting on a bench outside of Beacon when suddenly he hears someone from behind him. "Hey (Y/N)." Tai says as he sits next to his son startling (Y/N) . "O-oh... h-hi..." (Y/N) says nervously. "So, how has school been?" Tai asks. "It's uh... it's been okay..." (Y/N) says still scared. "Look... we uh... we want to invite you to the house for dinner. We don't know if you'll accept, but it'd mean a lot to your mother." Tai says. (Y/N) thinks about this for a moment. He hasn't been given a reason to be mad at them recently. It does genuinely seem to him like everyone is sorry. "S-sure..." (Y/N) says uncertain. "W-wait really?" Tai says surprised. "Y-yeah... sure i'll go..." (Y/N) says really nervous. "Well... that's great! I'll go tell everyone then." Tai says as he gets up excitedly. (Y/N) thinks for a moment. 'D-did I just make the right choice?' He asks himself unsure.
                          
(Timeskip to dinner)
                          
Eveyone was in Tai's car on the way to the house. (Y/N) was terrified seeing as how he was surrounded by his family, but he didn't wanna quit at the last minute and be rude. Eventually they all arrive at the house and (Y/N) is surprised. It really is exactly like how it used to look. Tai leads (Y/N) inside and (Y/N) is surprised to see how similar the inside of the house is to the old one. "I've still gotta finish dinner, but feel free to take a look around." Tai says before he walks into the kitchen. (Y/N) stands around uncomfortable for a moment before looking towards the stairs. He saw Yang and Ruby go up there a fee minutes ago. (Y/N) slowly makes his way towards the stairs before going up and passing Ruby and Yang's room. (Y/N) passes his parents room and finds the room he was looking for. His old room. He walks inside and is surprised by what he sees. There's a bed, a shelf with books and toys on it, a doormat, and a picture of him on a nightstand next to the bed. The room is all he'd ever wished it was when he was young. It felt like a normal person's room. He walked over to the bed before sitting down on it. The blanket and sheets are so soft. He's so absorbed in the room he doesn't notice his mother watching him. "It's uh... a lot more homey isn't it?" Summer says breaking this awkward silence. (Y/N) looks at her surprised. "Y-yeah... the room really isn't how I remember it..." He says. "We uh... we tried to make it feel like a child's room... cause we thought you were dead and that you'd appreciate this..." Summer says surprising (Y/N). "I think Ruby even used to think this room was haunted by you at one point." She says as her and (Y/N) both chuckle. "I uh... I don't really know what to say here." Summer says being entirely honest. (Y/N) laughs at this before realizing somethings up with the bed. He digs underneath the mattress and finds what looks like a journal. "Pl-please don't read that..." Summer pleads. (Y/N) puts it back, but is still really curious as to what it is. After a few minutes Tai calls everyone to dinner. Everyone sits down at the table before Tai serves dinner. It's porkchops... okay... (Y/N) cuts a piece off before putting a piece of the porkchop in his mouth. Suddenly he's in flavor heaven. Tai notices his son's reaction to the food and smiles slightly. After dinner everyone is sitting in the living room talking... like a family would. (Y/N) for once feels... happy... and he smiles. Suddenly Yang and Summer start arguing and it gets pretty heated. (Y/N) tries to defuse the situation, but Summer doesn't think. "SHUT UP YOU WORTHLESS IDIOT!" Summer yells before punching (Y/N) so hard in the face that he falls onto the ground. Summer stops and realizes what just happened. After a great night and building (Y/N)'s trust back up again, she just destroyed everything. (Y/N) stares at her in shock before activating his semblance and running out the door with Zwei barking after him. "(Y/N) WAIT!" Summer tries to call after him. But what she doesn't know is (Y/N) is already nearing a town with a Bullhead dock that will take him back to Beacon. Summer falls to her knees broken. She had just destroyed what trust her son had in her and along with it, whatever chance she had at him seeing her as family again.

                          
Man today sure is a great day. I wonder how the RWBY story is doing. *takes sip out of mug* *sees it has over 8k reads* *fucking faints*
