Evelyn kept her eyes on her Father.
What happened next, he used some magic to push her into the door.
She slammed into the door and she fell into the floor.
She tried to catch her breath, but it caused her to cough up blood.
“Evelyn, I’m very disappointed in you.”
She wrapped one arm around her stomach and lifted her head, so she could look at him.
“I thought I taught you better.”
She grinded her teeth.
She jumped up to her feet and charged him, but he easily caught her wrists.
He shook his head.
“Very disappointed.”
He kicked her right in the ribs and slung her.
The force from the kicked was about to cause her to fly through the windows of his office.
She caught herself, but when her back slammed into the glass and causing it to shatter.
She released the sides of the window and fell into little shards of glass.
She grinded her teeth at the pain.
William Control stalked over to her.
“Evelyn, you’re such a disappointment. I should’ve killed you after your mother gave birth to you.”
He stood in front of her.
She just layed there in the pieces of broken glass.
“You are just not fit to be my daughter.”
She felt tears, stinging at her eyelids and her hand clenched into a fist.
That was it!
She had it!
He raised his foot and was about to slam it down on his daughter’s head, but she grabbed his ankle.
His eyes widened.
How could she still be moving after everything?
Her grip of his ankle tightened.
She used some of her magic and the strength she had left to throw him into his desk.
He fell through his desk.
He looked back to her and couldn’t believe it.
She was standing up on her feet with her head bowed and she was trying to catch her breath.
“You’re right. I’m not fit to be your daughter, but I know I’m fit to be a Wild One.”
She grabbed her handmade Wild One knife and walked over to him.
He stood up and tried to fight her, but she fought back harder.
The anger from his words caused her to rise up and end him.
She grabbed him by his neck and pressed him against the door.
“Evelyn, please.”
“You don’t deserve to live.”
“What are you going to do? You wouldn’t kill your own Father.”
She raised an eyebrow and tilted her head to the side.
“Oh, I wouldn’t kill my own Father? Last time I checked, I’m no longer your daughter and you’re no longer my Father.”
His eyes widened with fear.
What happened next, surprised him.
She drew the knife right into his stomach.
He looked at the knife in his stomach then back to her.
“I will no longer put my trust in F.E.A.R.”
He looked back to the knife in his stomach.
When he took in his last breath, he fell right into her arms.
She felt tears running down her face.
She went down on her knees and layed her Father on the floor.
No matter what he said or did to her, he was still her Father.
She pulled the knife out of his stomach and threw it to the side.
She swept her hand over his face, closing his eyes.
She wanted it to look like he was sleeping.
She crossed his arms over his chest and just sat there, looking at his dead body.
She did the right thing.
