Santana had watched Brittany leave her car around ten minutes ago but was still waiting outside her house. Why was she doing this? She wasn't planning on it, but she wanted to make sure that Brittany had definitely phoned Sam and wasn't just lying to the Latina to skip the study session with her. She took the time to analyse what Brittany's house had looked like and much to her expectations, it was big; not too big, but not similar to Santana's. It had big red brick walls, with lights around the door and porch. It didn't look cheap though, she knew her parents probably weren't doctors like Santana's father, but they were clearly in good pay.

Quickly switching on her phone, ten more minutes had gone by since she last checked. 4:27. Why was Sam not here yet? Had Brittany chickened out? That honestly wouldn't come as a shock because Brittany still seems to be under Sam's control and the worst thing is that the blonde is so witless and doesn't even realise it. Santana let out a large sigh and at this point had given up on waiting and quickly put her keys into the car and started it.

"So what if she didn't call Sam to break up with him?" she spoke out loud to herself, "It's none of my business!" why was she getting so angry at herself? She knows she doesn't have a crush on Brittany, but if it's not a crush then what is it? It's certainly not friendship, but she feels eager, wants to spend every waking moment with her if she can. The energy that passes through her body is indescribable whenever Brittany looks at her, but only when they're alone. Whenever they're amongst people, Santana almost feels the need to despise her, but when it's only them two, alone, she suddenly feels at a loss for words, that there's potential there. Potential for what though?

Drawing herself out of the driveway, she sees an unfamiliar, blue Golf car pull up as soon as she exits Brittany's house. Could that be Sam?

As the car slowly but surely made its way past Santana's car, she peeped through the window to try and catch a glance of who was inside the car. Then she saw, looking back at her, the big-lipped, blonde boy... who now that she thought about it, looked a hell of a lot like Brittany's long-lost brother. As he drove past Santana, she took in his facial expressions. His eyes were filled with concern and almost seemed to be in a rush. Until he saw Santana. His concern transformed into a glare; he knew she was up to something.

Alas, they passed each other, and Santana made her way home, turning the music up on the radio while impatiently trying to find a station without commercials.

"Vibrating toothbrush, 50% off to all who order in stores now!" the man on the commercial spoke.

"Seriously? A vibrating toothbrush? The only reason I'd ever enjoy seeing an advert for one of those is because... Wanky" She spoke aloud to herself.

Just as she finally found a good song on the final channel of the radio, she was interrupted by a sudden ping of her phone. Knowing Santana's life, it was probably her father texting to say that he would be late home, again. Quickly glancing down at her cell, she saw that the tex was from an unknown number.

(4:42) Unknown: He just arrived D:

Santana lightly chuckled at the text, immediately knowing the message was from Brittany. She wondered how to reply, then she wondered how Brittany got her number in the first place.

(4:43) : good luck?? howd u get my number tho lmao, i knew u were obsessed with me.

Santana had tried to play the text casual, making it seem like she hadn't put much thought into it. One thing was for sure; she needed to find out if Brittany decided to bail on her decision, or to break-up with Sam. Part of her doesn't care, the other part of her needs them to break up, and for that she doesn't know why. Maybe she just prefers the idea of Brittany being alone? No. She likes the idea of Brittany being alone... with Santana.
