Rebekah's old room had been completely turned over, the entire room in pieces except the bed, where Klaus had moved Noah and Cami's bodies, and the bedside table. Thea was inconsolable, though she was no longer crying, she refused to speak to anyone as she simply sat, staring numbly at the dead bodies of her close friends.
Noah had been like a brother to her. From the very moment she stepped into New Orleans, he had been by her side - at wolf form at first, and then as a friend. He'd seen her through her troubles and always been somebody that she knew she could rely on. He was an innocent caught up in the madness of her life, and now he was gone. Because that's what happens when innocent people get mixed up with Mikaelson drama.
Though Thea and Cami had not started on the best foot, the two had grown as close as she and Hayley were. Cami had not only been Klaus' confidant, but had quickly became Thea's too - whenever she felt like she had no-one to talk to, the blonde was always there. The blonde always put everyone ahead of herself, seeing the good in people that they failed to see. She was a true friend that Thea would always carry with her.
Klaus was in mourning too. He rarely let anyone in, but he had let both Noah and Cami. The wolf had become the first real friend Klaus had made in well over a century - the first friend that wasn't as murderous and conniving as he was. Klaus rarely felt as though he could trust anyone, but he knew he could always rely on Noah.
And Cami? Cami was partly responsible for the hybrid's redemption. She was a breath of fresh air amongst the hazy drama in New Orleans. She helped him overcome his worries and his problems and she offered solutions instead of casting him away. She was always there to help him, no matter what the consequence. And this time - it had got her killed.
"Oh my god, we have to tell Hayley," Thea stated suddenly as she tried to pull herself weakly from the floor, her frantic eyes landing on Klaus who was stood near the window in the room, looking out onto the Quarter glumly. "What?" the original asked as he turned back to his wife with furrowed brows, watching as she pulled her phone out of her pocket with shaky hands.
"Hayley!" the hybrid repeated in semi-frustration, groaning when she dropped her phone onto the floor as a result of her shaking hands. Klaus sighed before walking over to the brunette, holding her in his arms as she began to break down once again, "Hayley...Noah's her cousin. Her only blood family, Nik...someone needs to tell her," Thea told the original desperately, her eyes and expression broken.
Klaus sighed, wrapping his arms around the teen in order to comfort her. However, before he could speak a sudden gasp sounded through the room causing the soulmates eyes to widen as they turned back to the bed, finding Cami awake with a hand held over her throat, looking wildly around the room. "T? Klaus?" the blonde called out weakly as she caught sight of the two hybrids by the door.
