Dr Turner leant against his car and pulled his cigarette case out.
"After difficult births like this I like to smoke" he told me lighting the cigarette in his mouth.
"I love Henley's" I smiled breathing the smoke in.
"How did you know they were Henley's, I have them in a special case without the label" he said shocked.
"My father used to smoke them and I would often steal one from his jacket pocket" I smiled at the memory.
"Would you like a puff?" He asked holding the cigarette towards me.
"Just one" I smiled taking the cigarette, having a puff and passing it back to him "so your name is Dr Turner?" I asked.
"Yes, let me clarify, my fathers name is Dr Patrick Turner and my name is Dr Timothy Turner" he smiled at me taking another puff of his cigarette.
"So the man I met earlier was your father" I said finally understanding.
"Yes" he smiled at me again.
"Well goodnight doctor" I smiled at him walking toward my bicycle.
"Please sister let me drive you home" Timothy said kindly.
"What about my bike?"
"We could put it in the back of my car"
"I would hate to make it muddy" I said glancing at the covered tires.
"Let me walk you" Timothy smiled.
"Ok then but what about your car?"
"I'll just walk back, it's only a 5 minute walk" he smiled at me as we began walking.
"Do you have any siblings?"
"I do I have two adopted sisters Angela and May and there 10 and I have a little brother Teddy and he is 6" he smiled at the mention of there names "do you have any siblings?"
"I have two older brothers James and George and I have a little brother Oliver" I smiled at there names.
"What about your childhood was it a happy one?" Timothy asked.
"Well it was as normal as can be, with the only daughter stealing cigarettes from her father, the father drinking everyday and abusing the mother" I frowned "I'm sorry" I said frowning again.
"It's ok really it wasn't your fault" he smiled kindly at me.
"Part of it was" I frowned again.
"How so?"
"I prefer to leave it in the past, what about your childhood?"
"Well I had polio so instead of getting married my parents stayed with me in hospital, I was my father's best man, they adopted Angela, had Teddy, then adopted May" he explained.
"So Shelagh is your mother?"
"Yes, and I know it's hard to believe" he chuckled.
"No actually it makes perfect sense" I smiled.
