Point Place Wisconsin

January 13th, 1977

Thursday afternoon

The Forman's Basement

Eric, Steven, Fez and I all crowded around a map. Just a couple of days and we would be off.

"Alright guys, this is no sweat. If we leave after school we should make it to Jackie's ski cabin by like 6:00." Eric says closing up the map.

Steven nods and smiles a little,

"Man I can't wait. A trip to my favourite place... anywhere but here." He says moving over to our chair.

"And I'm betting that Alpine Valley is going to give the kid many make-out opportunities with Donna this weekend... the kid, is in." Eric grins, hopping over the couch to take a seat.

"What's with the whole 'kid' thing?" Steven asks as I take a seat across his lap.

"It's cool! ...it's not cool?" he asks dejectedly.

"Not at all." I say looking over at him.

Fez shakes his head, "Not cool. Dorky."

Steven and I chuckle.

"Even Fez can see that." I tease.

The door opens and Kelso walks in, clearly smug.

"Guess who made out with Pam Macy behind the gym?"

"Everyone." Steven and I say. He looks at me slightly confused, I wink and smile.

"Me!" He laughs excitedly.

"Kelso, a lot of people hang out behind the gym." Eric said.

"Yeah, that's what's so great about it. Everybody saw it!" he exclaims.

Fez and I look at each other and shake our heads.

"Oh! That's great, man." Steven says sarcastically, "Because now everybody can tell Jackie, you moron."

He groans and I sink into his chest as his arms wrap around me. He's clearly annoyed.

"Yeah and then she's gonna dump you and we won't be able to go up to her ski cabin!" Eric complains.

"She's never gonna find out." Kelso argues.

"Idiot, she probably already has. I bet she's on her way here to skin you alive." I pitch in.

Just as I finish, the door slams open.

"You are a dog, Michael, a dirty, dirty dog!" Jackie yells, marching in.

"What'd I do?" He asks innocently.

"You kissed Pam Macy." Fez says.

Michael gasps and puts his hands on his hips.

"I trusted you, Michael, and now all my friends are laughing at me. I can't even show my face in the third floor bathroom anymore, and that's the cool bathroom." She yells hitting his chest with a pointed finger.

"It's true, they just started letting me use it." I call.

"But, I-" he starts

"No, Michael! We're through." Jackie cuts him off.

"Damn," I whisper to Steven, "There goes the fun night I had planned."

He looks down at me, "Fun night?" he asks.

I shrug, "I guess you'll never know now," I reply smiling at him innocently.

"Okay if that's the way you want it, we're through! And Monday, when we get back from that ski trip, it's over!" Kelso yells at Jackie.
