*Y/n POV*

                          
We were standing outside my parents house and Ben almost squeezed my hand to death. "Calm down love! You haven't even met them yet!" I whispered in his ear and giggled. "Sorry..." He said and trailed off. Soon the door was opened by my father. "Dad!" I squealed and hugged him. "Hi Y/n! I'm so happy to see you!" He answered me. "I'm Ben. I once picked up Buddy, I don't know if you remember." Ben said. 
                          
My dad shook Bens hand and said: "I remember you. You're a fine man Ben! Come on in!" We entered the house and was greeted by my mom. "Oh hi my two lovebirds." She exclaimed and group-hugged us. "Nice to meet you Mrs Y/l/n." Ben said and smiled. "Please call me Trine!" My mom said and smiled softly. 
                          
"Let's eat." My dad said and walked to the dining table. We all sat down and started to eat what my mom had made. It tasted wonderful and thankfully Ben commented: "It tastes amazing Trine, you're a great cook." "Thank you so much dear!" My mom said and smiled. My father gave me a knowing look and smiled wide. My parents liked Ben! I couldn't be more happy. I just hoped he liked my parents. 

                          
Ben helped my dad clean the table and the dishes. While they were cleaning, I heard them talk. "Uh, Mr Y/l/n, I've been meaning to ask you something the evening..." I could hear Ben say. I wanted to know what he said after that, but my mother came over to me and smiled wide. "What?" I asked confused. "He's a lovely man!" She said. "He really is, isn't he." "Yeah." My mom agreed.

After a lovely dinner and many conversations we went home. "So, what do you think?" I asked Ben as soon as we entered our car. "It was amazing! Your parents are the best!" He exclaimed and smiled. "I can't wait to meet your family!" I said and squealed in happiness. Ben smiled wide and kissed me on the cheek. "Me neither."

                          
When we came home we quickly walked inside and saw Lucy sitting on the couch with Rami by her side. "So?" She asked and stood up. "It went great!" I said and smiled. "It really did." Ben agreed and put his arms around my hips. "I'm glad to hear that." She said and smiled. "Me too." Rami chimed in. 
                          
"Uh, guys.." Lucy then said. "What?" I asked confused. "Rami and I are officially a couple again!" She said and squealed. "That's amazing!" Ben and I exclaimed at the same time. Rami smiled so much that I thought he was gonna blowup. We celebrated the two good things with some champagne and a movie. 
                          
After the movie we were pretty buzzed, so we went straight to bed. "I've had an amazing day." I mumbled to Ben when we were lying in bed. "Me too darling! I can't tell you how much I love you!" He said and hugged me tight. I didn't wanna move from that position, so I stayed in his arms and hoped he felt the same.

"Morning beautiful." Ben said and kissed me on the forehead. "Good morning." I said in a raspy voice. "Wanna get something to eat?" He asked me and brushed a strand of hair away from my face. "Sure, but I'll take a shower first." "I'll go down and cook something while you shower." He said to me and stood up. "Sounds nice." I said and sat up. He chuckled and walked away.

                          
I quickly took a shower and got ready for the day. When I was ready I ran down the stairs and joined Ben in the kitchen. "Whatcha ya making Jonesy?" I said in a very strong accent. Ben started to laugh but answered my question by pointing at the oven. He was baking buns. They smelled great. "They are ready in 15 minutes time." He said and hugged me from behind. "It smells great love." "Thank you dear." He whispered in my ear cheekily. 
                          
I turned around and smacked my lips against his. This was what I needed! Someone to love and someone who loves me. "I can't live without you." I whispered in his ear. "I can't live without you either." He said to me.

After we had eaten the buns, we took a walk with our dogs. "About the vet." Ben started. I then remembered he said he had gotten me a job in a vet. "Yeah?" I asked. "They want you to start on Monday." "Tomorrow?" I asked confused. He nodded and smiled. "That's great." I said and smiled. I was really excited and was really looking forward to tomorrow. 
                          
On our walk, we met other dogs and dog owners. A really nice guy, Christian, let his dog play with ours. It was quite fun. He was really nice and seemed like a great guy. 

                          
On our way home Ben was a bit tense. "What's wrong my love?" I asked him confused. "It's just... I saw and I know you think he's sweet. Please don't leave me." He said and looked insecure. "Aww Ben! You scared me there!" I said and laughed. "No. I-I know he's better than me and that you deserve so much better than me.." He began. "Shut up! Don't be so pathetic!" I exclaimed mad and stopped walking. He looked at me innocently. 
                          
"You deserve someone better than me, not the other way around!" I added. He was about to say something, but I cut him of. "Never think that anyone can replace you! You're the only one to ever take my heart and I only want you to have it! Even if you break it! Ben I love you so much!" I finished. "Oh, wow." He said and wiped tears away from his face. "I would never break your heart, 'cause you're the one I want!" He exclaimed and kissed me passionately. 
                          
"That's the sweetest someone has ever said to me." He added and smiled. I smiled back and said: "Let's get home lover boy." He nodded and winked at me for calling him lover boy.
