"Baby something smells good." Bucky said as he came through the door.
She smiled she had spent all day preparing for their Christmas dinner. He came into the kitchen to find her making the appetizers. He wrapped his arms around her waist. "I love you gorgeous.." he said
"I love you too. Now go upstairs and shower. Our friends will be here soon for dinner." She said
"Yes boss.." he said seductively in her ear.
"Stop.." she said as she kissed him.
She got everything laid out in the dining room. She made sure the beer was cold and the wine was chilled. Bucky was still in the shower when she went upstairs.
She joined him in the shower he kissed her as he put her against the wall. They had a quickie in the shower. "Ah god yes....James.." she whispered
"Mmm god yes..oh ah Bails..mmm" he whispered as he spilled into her.
They shared one last kiss then got ready for their dinner party. Fifteen minutes later their friends arrived. "The house looks great Bails.." Natasha said as she took off her coat.
"Thanks.." she said
They all went into the kitchen where they snacked on appetizers. Sam and Clint came in last "Well we just got out of the last court hearing.." Sam said as Scott grabbed a beer.
"And.." Bucky said
"Sorry to say this cause I cant believe that we didn't see something was wrong. Bradley set the whole thing up with one of our undercover drug informants. The "robbers" were all informants." Sam said
"Why would Bradley.." Bucky started to say but stopped.
"What Buck?" Bailey said
He looked at her "He knew.." he said
"He knew what?" She said
"He knew she was cheating..think about it baby. He made sure you knew his wishes..he went to Pietro instead of Hope or Carol cause he knew they would ask questions. He made sure we knew about being pallbearers. He moved back in with me claiming they were having problems..but in reality he needed to get out of their apartment.." Bucky said
They all looked around "The text messages..he made sure he sent one to everyone that day..he knew you all would be there especially you Buck.." Natasha said
Bailey step backwards into Bucky. "He hired a hitman to take him out.." she said
"Yeah.." Clint said as he took a sip of his beer.
"Lets eat everyone.." Bailey said through a smile as tears fell.
They all went into the dining room. They had tenderloin lobster and shrimp for dinner. Bailey also made a oreo truffle cake for dessert.
After dinner and dessert was over. They all helped them decorate their tree. Once Bailey thought they were all done.
Bucky told their friends to be quiet as he stood behind her. "Baby.." he said
"Yeah.." she said
"There's one more.." he said
She turned around to take it but saw him down on one knee. She read the ornament and saw the ring. She gasped as happy tears fell.
"Yes.." she said
He slid the ring on her finger she placed her hand over her mouth. Bucky stood up he kissed her "I love you baby..god do I love you.." he said
"I love you too..this totally beats my surprise.." she said
"Your surprise.." he said
She stood on her toes and whispered "Im pregnant.."
His mouth fell open "Really?" He whispered
She smiled and shooked her head yes. He picked her up and hugged her. "Best day of my life" he whispered.
Natasha smiled. "I bet she is pregnant.." she whispered.
They all smiled at the adorably in love couple before them.
