P.S: I changed Jungkook's date of birth so don't be confused when you get there. This story takes place in the year 2035, just in case you were curious :)
There was a voice, a voice that sounded very familiar. "Jungkook" It said, calling his name with a pitch Jungkook could never mistake. "Jungkook" His eyes were closed, unable to open them at all then suddenly, he felt something touch his shoulder. And just by that touch, he opened his eyes. "Jungkook, are you listening to me?" Jungkook turned his head, eyes looking up to see Helen, a bright smile on her face.
"What?" Jungkook replied, confused. Helen giggled, shaking her head softly. "I said it's bedtime. You've been watching t.v for over an hour now. Come on, off to bed." Jungkook whined, a pout appearing on his face. "But mom-" The minute that word escape his lips, his eyes widened, cheeks blooming a light pink. Helen also widened her eyes, raising her eyebrows. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to-" Helen smiled, kneeling next to Jungkook to get to his height.
"Oh Kookie, it's okay. I would love for you to call me mom but we could get in trouble." "I'm sorry. . . it was an accident." Helen wrapped her arms around him, bringing him closer to place a kiss on his forehead. "It's okay love, come on. Let's get to bed." Jungkook nodded his head, still a little embarrassed at calling Helen mom. He's never called her that before, at least not when he was awake. He's always dreamed of having a mom and whenever he would picture his mom, Helen's face would always appear.
Luckily, Helen didn't seem to feel weird about it. Jungkook walked over to his bed, climbing on top to get comfortable. "Helen, can you tell me a bedtime story?" Helen smiled and nodded her head. She walked over to the bed, laying right next to Jungkook, hugging him close to her chest. "How about I tell you a story about a boy who was born with powers." Jungkook widened his eyes, looking up at Helen with amazement. "Like me!"
Helen chuckled, fingers passing through Jungkook's hair. "Yeah, just like you. And just like you, the boy was scared of his powers. He thought he could hurt people if he wasn't careful. But with enough practice and enough training, the boy was able to control it. He became stronger and smarter." "Will I become stronger and smarter too?" Jungkook asked, face tucked under Helen's chin.
He felt Helen giggled, chest moving up and down with each one. "I'm sure of it." Jungkook hummed before he looked up at her, eyes wide with curiosity. "Then what happened?" "Well, the boy learned how to use his powers and soon, he began helping people, protecting them. But the people he helped thought he was weird, and strange. They've never seen humans have powers before so they were very scared. The boy didn't know what to do, it was hard to help people when they were afraid but he didn't care.
