Song of the Chapter: Cutiepie, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (I mean i had to)💁
-----------------------------//---------------------------

It was the morning of the engagement, and to say that the Oberoi Mansion was chaotic was an understatement.

Anika and Mira had been locked inside a bridal room for the past three hours, with experts and spa staff catering to all their needs, a gift from Mira.

Samrat, Raichand and Rudy were busy ordering around the workmen and the staff, everyone and everything had to be perfect.

"OH BHAISAHAB HELLO! KYA KAR RAHE HO? MAINE ORANGE FLOWERS BOLE THE, YE TANGERINE HAIN!"

Abhi yelled from the stairs at a flustered florist arranging strings of flowers from the ceiling.

"Mukti, ye....seedha hai na?"

Cabir muttered to a frazzled Mukti, who wasn't hearing anything, just focused on Abhimanyu Singh Oberoi in all his glory, in a fitted tux that well, could make even married aunties swoon.

"Kya bola?"

Mukti asked Cabir to repeat himself, still in a daze.

"Abbey ARE YOU SURE HE'S STRAIGHT?!?"

He yelled, not bothering to pay attention to any eyes widening at him.

"Oh Cabir Dhawan, after yesterday, I'm definitely sure he's straight."

Mukti muttered with a smirk, as she left Cabir with a pat on his back to join Abhi.

"Shiv shiv shiv shiv shiv, behuda ladki."

Cabir muttered disgustingly, putting his palms to his ears as he sped away.

Yup, Abhi and Mukti had definitely gotten out of the friend zone.

And Nandini? She, along with Rishab and Malik, was with Shivaay, getting him ready for the second-best day of his life.

"Ishu, this is too much. Like, what is this? Why is this sparkly? And why is it so long?"

Shivaay asked, nitpickin bright red, designer sherwani.

"Bhai, seriously? It's your engagement! You can't just wear your normal business suit na? Thoda sparkle toh hoga hi."

Nandini answered, swatting off his hands and fixing the stole wrapped around his shoulder.

"Shivaay, just agree with what she says. Do you think I wanted to wear this? It's better not to argue against her."

Malik advises begrudgingly, pointing at his black kurta, which he was looking absolutely delicious in, not that he cared.

Rishab chuckled and nodded, pointing to his own outfit, a beige kurta and a red Nehru jacket.

(Guys I'm not adding the guys' outfits because eugh, lame. However, if you do want to see them, let me know, I'll add them in later!)

Shivaay took one last glance at himself in the mirror, letting out a sigh, and nodded. This was it. He was going to be engaged.

Nandini smiled at him, side hugging him, as Shivaay smiled back, kissing her forehead.
