All bonuses are kept in one book for the whole series if you want to check all out in one spot. 💙

This one jumps back and forth in POV in one chapter, but they're labeled. I don't do that a ton, except sometimes in bonuses.

"Yes!" I pump my fist in the air like a nerd, rising from the low gray couch.

Our dorm's shared common space is barebones. Television, couch, DVDs, nothing on the white walls, but we agreed tonight would be a roommate movie night, so we're gathered in the saddest room in our place.

Jeremy and KJ turn to look at me, each holding a stack of DVDs while I wave my phone in the air. With an eyebrow raised, Brady glances over at me from his spot on the far end of the other sofa, smiling. "Sierra texted me, asking to do something. It's just been a while, so..."

Brady braces his palms on the couch, shifting to face me while resting one leg on the cushion. "How's that going? Is she, um, recovering okay?"

I tilt my head. "You heard what happened?"

KJ and Jeremy wear twin expressions of sympathy while Brady nods, his earnest green eyes wide while his face flames pink.

My cheeks heat up, too. "Things are good. She's pretty amazing. Just, like, she's been through a bunch of bullshit, so I'm impressed she can still be so sweet."

"Invite her over to watch with us."

"Yeah?" I scan the room, catching the other two nodding approval.

"Yeah, dude, all of us like her. You upgraded hardcore from Christina."

Yep. From a narcissist to an actual partner. It's night and day different, and I'm so ridiculously nuts about her. Last Sunday was the first time I inwardly acknowledged I was in love.

When she peered up at me from her spot on her bed, head propped up as she clutched her book, I felt like I had been gut-punched. "Smell this," she suggested, her beautiful blue eyes sparkling.

Wavy hair spilled over the arm she stretched out on the bed, and her lips curved into an excited smile. It was one of the most beautiful sights I've ever witnessed. "What's that?"

She held the book up to my nose, and I inhaled the familiar, distinct scent you can only get from an old book. "Isn't that the best?"

I returned her smile and traced my hand along the curve of her waist, watching a slight tinge of pink crawl up her cheeks. "Yes," I agreed softly.

She's like a breath of fresh air that I didn't know I needed because I didn't realize I was numb underwater, my lungs begging my head to break the surface.

Now after I catch my breath, how do I tell her without scaring her away?
