"Domitian." I plainly and obviously said. The man who promised me that he would see me again was right in front of my very own eyes. The man I have not seen the age of the Spartans when we were about to get killed. Him sacrificing himself in order for me to get away and I, the coward that I was, ran from it all. Not giving him a chance to fulfil his promise but here he is right now.

"Domitian, I-"

"Mr. Hunter! I advise-"

"Hunter?" Everyone yelled behind me. I couldn't see them but I knew I had to do something because they would obviously kill him.

"Halt!" I turned around, demanding them to stop but that didn't work. One of the Soul Takers took the opportunity to throw a slightly shattered light bulb at him, the sharp end facing Domitian. I tried to stop it, yet I was too slow. I was just grateful that Domitian knew his training and caught it. Sure he caught it from the sharp end and his palm was bleeding now, since he crushed it afterwards, but other than that, he was unharmed.

"I said for you all to stop! You are not to harm him at all!" I yelled at them, trying to get my message through them.

"He is a Hunter, why are you protecting his kind?" The older brother spoke up, obviously outraged that I would protect a Hunter, someone that would kill us with no hesitation. Much less, kill his little sister, as she hid behind him. Scared of what was happening.

"I'm protecting our kind! He is no Hunter, he is a Soul Taker."

"Lies! You called us here so we can all be killed. We should have known better than to listen to you."

"If I may," Domitian grabbed my shoulder, pushing me behind him for some reason, Not knowing if it was to protect me or a way for all eyes to be focused on him. Either way, I didn't like how I was behind him so I moved to see what he was gonna do. It wasn't much of a surprise but he changed his eye color to prove to everyone that he is indeed a Soul Taker. Everyone was trying to process what happened and whether or not to trust him. "And to prove that you can trust me, I won't be hiding any secrets. You may not like this but I also came out of a coma a few years ago. Rest assured, I am sane and not crazy in any way."

The Jock boy wasted no time in responding. "Okay, we believe who you are but you got out of a coma. We can't trust someone like that."

"And yet, you trust Julitta over here." All eyes were now focused on me.

"You-"

"Calm down everyone. Yes, I woke up from a coma but those stories are lies. Fake. I mean look at Domitian, he was in a coma and he is normal. If he wasn't then he wouldn't be so formal and honest, right?" Everyone was still skeptical. "How about we just call it a day? A lot has happened in 5 minutes and I'm sure you need to wrap your head around it. If you want to go then I won't blame you, this is now your choice but make sure to do it wisely." I grabbed onto Domitian, pulling him out of the house to leave the others alone. We had to stop outside so that he could instruct his assistant on what to do next and to leave us for a while. It was kind of her to understand and not question it at all.

After all that, we went to the house where I was going to stay at. "You have no idea how happy I am to see you again, Domi-" He raised up a hand to silence me, and it worked.

"Call me Craig."

"Then you have to call me [Name.]"

"[Name.]" He said, testing out my name once and one more time. "[Name.] It suits you."

I couldn't help but smile at that although I started to frown when I couldn't find a warm welcome in his eyes. I didn't see a smile on his face and his posture was anything but friendly. It was like he was prepared to fight in case anything happened.
