The moment he saw your full face, he looked away. "Um.... Hi."
You tried to talk to him. Shuichi only barely looked up at you and smiled. "Oh... Hi there... You're new, right?"
You nodded casually in response. Shuichi squinted, his eyes half lidded. "Thought so..." You snorted and playfully shook his shoulder, despite not even knowing him well. "Cmon, The teacher just told me i was new here..."
Shuichi combed some of his turquoise hair behind his hair and smiled. "Ah! Sorry..." You softened your stare. "Hey, its all good..."
You took a moment to yourself and let your gaze fall to something else. The school itself was huge; you discovered that while trying to find your classroom. Even the classrooms were overwhelmingly large with large windows.
You glanced over at Shuichi only to see his eyes were focused on your backpack. Suddenly, he looked over at you with his eyes dropping with uncertainty. "Where's your schedule? I wanna see if we have any c-classes together..."
You merely nodded in response and took out your crumpled up schedule from the inside of your uniform pocket. "Here."
You handed the paper to him. Shuichi looked down and smiled under his hat, refusing to make eye contact with you. "You c-could have at l-least folded it...."
You gave him a funny face before he turned almost completely around. "A-Ah! Sorry, I didn't mean to-" "No, it's fine."
You shook your head and pulled your backpack from the ground into your lap, resting your hands on it.
Shuichi didn't turn around at all, however he was scanning your paper very carefully. "U-Um... we have science t-together..."
