When his eyes fluttered open, it had taken him a while to register where he was and what happened last night. Once the memory came crashing into his mind, he sat up quickly with a hopeful expression.
His heart dropped when he saw the empty spot beside him and he reached over, feeling the sheets that were cold. He quickly changed and rushed downstairs in hopes that he wrong. But there was no one here.
She was gone.
Tears welled in his gaze as he stared around the place and the memories they shared together. She had told him she loved him in this living room and they had made love for the first time upstairs. Even the little moments were shared around the house whether it was a small kiss on the cheek or her cooking him dinner.
And last night, everything had been the opposite. She had been saying goodbye.
His bottom lip quivered and gripped at his chest, feeling his heart breaking.
Dreaming his worst nightmare, caused him to suddenly jolt in his spot and take in his surroundings. The idea that Emily could leave him at the end of senior year terrified him and was enough to wake him up.
Stiles glanced around, not recognizing were he was aside from the fact that it was a train station. He looked around at the people sitting, looking in a daze as if they were dreaming.
He turned to the female doctor next to him, hoping that she might have useful information. "Excuse me. Sorry, where are we?"
"We're at the train station." She replied in a blank tone.
His brows raised slightly at her answer, "Right. Okay. Helpful." He muttered sarcastically to himself and cleared his throat. "Which train station exactly?"
