"I can't sleep," I whined out although still looking clearly tired. Loki rolled his eyes going back to his book.
"I can see that." Huffing out I fell back down onto the pillow looking at the ceiling. "I'm assuming you want to talk about it, instead...
My heals hit the floor of the mansions marble flooring. The doors opened for me as I walked throughout the house to the bathroom.
'Another long day at work (Y/N)?' Friday asked and I yawned stretching as I undressed before hopping in the shower.
"Yep, three board meetings followed by the new seasons line up. But it's done and dusted now." times moving so slow all I want is Loki back and then my life will be together again. Letting out a relaxing sigh as the showers water ran down my skin it soothed my bones. Maybe I should start designing the avengers line for next year. I'm planning for it to come out after the massive fight although I'm not fully sure of the date.
'(y/n), Thor is on the perimeter.' Letting out a sigh and lightly hitting my head on the glass wall I turned off the shower. Couldn't he have come over in twenty minutes so I could finish relaxing? Stepping out of the shower I heard the doorbell ring.
"Friday let him in and say I'll be there in a few." Drying myself and changing into some sleepwear.

When walking out he had a bottle of wine and two glasses from the kitchen.
"Do you know what time it is?" I said walking down the stairs. He turned and smiled when seeing me.
"Sorry, the time difference you know." I rolled my eyes at him taking the glass he poured for me.
"Thor its 5 am where you live and 11 pm here." His smile dimmed a little and when I sat down he joined me.
"I just wanted to check up on you. It was the request by Loki and you've been too distant." I hummed in response taking a sip of the wine in my hand. I watched as he gulped down half of the glass in one go.
"I've just been busy with the companies and helping out Toney with Morgan. You're welcome to come over any time you know." I said speaking into the wine glass. "It's you waiting for me to ask for help." Sipping again I glanced out into the ocean from the floor to ceiling windows.
"I don't want to force you to talk about what happened. But I'm worried you burying how you really feel will catch up to you one day." I raised an eyebrow at him and turned back to face Thor.
"What about you, I know you feel responsible." He sighed tilting his head downwards for a moment.
"I did but I know it wasn't just me. Seeing you try to do something with your life has helped me." He placed a hand on my knee and I took one last sip of my drink.
"Glad to know I did something. But now I need to rest, you're welcome to spend the night in one of the guest rooms." Standing from the couch I made my way up to the bedroom not checking to see if Thor left.
«1 year later»
"Where did you go?" I sang throughout the cabin and heard a giggle. "I'm gonna find you." Kneeling down I lifted the cloth under the table and heard a scream. "Gotcha!" I giggled pulling Morgan from underneath the dining table.
"Come on you two it's time for dinner." I laughed picking her up and she wrapped she arms around me.
"Right. Are you gonna get Iron man or shall I?" I asked Morgan as I dropped her to the floor.
"Together." I giggled taking her hand.
"Well, you're the boss." As we were walking over I spotted three people outside... It's starting today? I guessed it was coming and started selling off the companies with one to go but I thought I had more time.
"Is she here?" I picked up Morgan so I could listen.
"Who are we talking about?" Nat must have tried to call my house number, Toney doesn't want them to know I'm here.
"(Y/N) we've tried to contact her we know she's studied under you and she could help." I let out a shaky breath and hit my head lightly on the wall behind me.
"What are we doing?" Morgan asked and I shooshed her.
"Spy mission, quiet now."
"Don't drag her into this, she's lost too much and doesn't need any more of this bull shit." I let down Morgan and glanced outside then back to her.
"Now tell your dad Pepper wanted you to save him." I smiled and she nodded doing exactly that. Bitting my inner cheek Toney came through the front door and looked over to me with Morgan in his arms.
"Sorry you had to hear that, let's forget that and have dinner." He pats my shoulder and I let out a shaky breath.
"Yeah. Sure."

"Is all the paperwork here?" My lawyer asked and all the papers were placed in front of me.

"It is, I've got the check-in your bank right now, all you need to do is sign." I've worked closely with this man over the past three years as I progressed this company and after this agreement, the company will be his.
"Right, I've glad to have worked with you." I quickly signed the papers and another 200 billion dollars in my bank. My lawyer placed the papers back into the folder and I shook hands of the new owner. That's when a wave of power shook the building. Everyone in the room walked over to the windows looking outside, people started popping up everywhere. It's here. A portal was made in the office making everyone step back. They all turned towards me.
"Fucking time travel." I walked through and looked around that my thin heeled shoes almost sank through. "Wong when I said you could holla me any time to help this is not what I meant." Looking up to the big ship my gaze turned to see Wong in a fighting stance.
"Sorry for the short notice, how did the sign off go?" Toney said and I crossed my arms seeing more people come through portals.
"Another 200 billion dollars in the bank. Did you have all the fun without me." I breathed out but stopped the moment I saw Loki coming over from the portal.
