Chapter Twenty-Six
"This is going to be fun Chlo!" Hannah insisted.
"Yeah, being a third wheel is always great." I cheered sarcastically. "Oh wait, that's right it's not even third wheel but fifth."
"You're over exaggerating." Ellie rolled her eyes.
"Can't you guys just leave me and make it a cute double date for you guys?" I pleaded.
"No." Hannah shook her head. "You're coming with us."
"Guys--"
"You're not staying home alone on a Saturday night when the carnival is in town." Ellie argued. "Now go get dressed."
I sighed, walking into my bathroom. Considering I was being taken out against my will, I wasn't going to dress up, so I pulled a dark grey v-neck t-shirt over my head and slipped on a pair of my usual slim rolled ripped jeans and a pair of blue, orange and grey Nike Air Max Thea's.
"Can we just go and get this torture over and done with?" I groaned as I left my bathroom and my room, making my way downstairs to the car.

After a few rides, we all decided to grab something to eat. Hannah was sitting on Derek's lap and Harry was feeding Ellie. I on the other hand, sat there, dipping my french fry in sauce debating whether I actually wanted it or not. I couldn't deny feeling lonely amongst these couples.
"Guys, I need to pee," I lied. "I'm gonna look for some loo's." I just needed to get away from all these couples.
I got up, and pushed my way through the crowds. I wasn't actually sure what I was looking for but I was hoping to get far away.
As I pushed through a small group of people I ended up bumping into someone's hard chest. I stumbled back, slightly startled.
As I took a deep breath to start speaking a familiar smell of expensive cologne filled my air tunnels and my heart started racing before the information even got registered by my brain. But before it could, the figure turned around, and as our eyes met my lungs blocked and my heart stopped. My lips turned dry and with my throat clogged.
"Princess." The familiar smile unblocked my lungs and let them breathe again, unfortunately that led to my heart going crazy.
"Grayson." I breathed. "What are you doing here?"
"I er," he rubbed his neck nervously and I watched his muscles flex. His shirt rose up slightly exposing his tanned abs that I had just collided with. "I just came back this morning and er, a few friends of mine wanted to meet up."
"Oh." I nodded slightly hurt at the fact he didn't bother meeting up with any of us or even letting us know he was back. "Who are you here with?"
"Friends. Just friends." He told me. "Are Harry, El and Han here?"
"El and Harry are. Hannah brought along a friend of hers." I told him. Why was this so awkward?
"A friend huh?" He winked and I had to try my hardest to stay composed.
"Yeah." I laughed. "Her and Derek are a bit more than that."
"What about you?"
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Are you here with someone?" I knew he meant a guy.
"No." I shook my head and I could have sworn I saw relief in his eyes so why not ruin that considering he ruined my six weeks. "But I met this guy." So lame Chloe.
